Brent Hoffart, Owner
I am blessed to be a team member and owner of Home Instead, St. Joseph & Maryville, MO. We are enhancing lives every day by delivering genuine, quality care with the greatest Care Professionals and Administrative Staff in NW Missouri.We build and maintain relationships by doing what we say we are going to do and treating everyone with dignity and respect.
Andrea Allen, Director of Growth & Development
Andrea joined Home Instead in May 2023 as Operations Manager and was promoted to Director of Growth & Development in April 2025. In her current role, she leads initiatives focused on expanding and strengthening the business across the 13 counties we serve. She manages all external-facing functions, including networking, brand awareness, and oversight of external administrative staff. Andrea also serves as a Home Care Consultant and Client Care Coordinator for the Maryville area, supporting prospective clients and families while guiding overall growth strategies. She places a strong emphasis on community involvement and building meaningful relationships with referral provider networks to ensure families have access to trusted home care services.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, complemented by a minor in General Business, from Northwest Missouri State University. In her free time, she enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and traveling whenever possible.
Heather Stone, Director of Talent & People Development
Heather joined Home Instead in 2021 as the Engagement and Training Coordinator and has been promoted several times since. Most recently, in April 2025, she became the Director of Talent and People Development. In her role, Heather oversees the management and development of both administrative staff and Care Professionals. She is responsible for recruitment and hiring, staff development, and fostering engagement among team members, clients, and the community.
Originally from Saint Joseph, Heather lives locally with her husband and children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting, and traveling whenever possible.
Deanna Utz, Client Care Manager
Deanna joined Home Instead in February 2020 as Client Care Manager. She works closely with older adults, their families, and team members to coordinate and optimize all aspects of care. Deanna conducts Care Consultations, facilitates introductions between older adults and Care Professionals, and performs Quality Assurance visits and follow-ups. She also maintains ongoing communication with older adults, Care Professionals, family members, and healthcare providers to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.
Outside of work, Deanna enjoys spending time with her husband and grandchildren.
Tara Stevenson, Registered Nurse
Tara Stevenson joined Home Instead in May 2021 as a Registered Nurse. She brings extensive experience in primary care and is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. In her role, Tara focuses on expanding the clinical and educational opportunities for staff and Care Professionals. She provides trainings in nurse-directed services, wound care, medication administration, and personal care skills, ensuring high-quality care for clients and ongoing professional development for the team.
Tara is married and has three teenage boys. In her free time, she enjoys art, music, and gardening.
Lexi Louk, Community Care Coordinator
Lexi joined Home Instead in November 2025 as Community Care Coordinator and serves as the primary point of contact for clients and their families at our Holiday Country Squire location. She develops and oversees individualized care plans, addresses client and family concerns, and conducts regular quality assurance visits to ensure exceptional service within the community.
Lexi also provides leadership and ongoing support to our Care Professionals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family on their farm, reading, and gardening.
Jackson Weddle, Billing & Payroll Specialist
Jackson joined the Home Instead team in July 2025 as Billing & Payroll Specialist, where he is responsible for processing payroll accurately, managing billing functions, and supporting financial operations behind the scenes. He also assists with updating VA authorizations and submitting claims to long-term care insurance companies on behalf of our clients. His strong attention to detail helps ensure both caregivers and clients receive timely, reliable service.
Originally from Saint Joseph, Missouri, Jackson enjoys hiking, baking, and playing disc golf in his free time.
Lynne Chandler, Office Coordinator (Maryville)
Lynne began her career with Home Instead in May 2024 as a Care Professional and was promoted to Office Coordinator in September 2025. In her current role, she oversees scheduling, hiring, and recruitment while supporting both clients and Care Professionals to ensure exceptional care experiences. With more than ten years of caregiving experience, Lynne brings valuable insight and compassion to her leadership role.
Outside of work, she is passionate about animal rescue and enjoys relaxing with a good book.
Karlee Faur, Service Coordinator
Karlee joined Home Instead in June 2025 as Service Coordinator, where she manages scheduling for the South region, coordinating all client and caregiver schedules. In her role, she carefully considers each client’s preferences and level of care along with caregiver availability and skill sets to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Karlee builds strong relationships with caregivers, clients, and families to ensure everyone receives the support they need.
Outside of work, she stays busy with her two high-school-aged children and their activities, including football, baseball, basketball, and cheerleading.
Jane Sarmiento, Service Coordinator
Jane joined Home Instead in December 2025 as a Service Coordinator. In her role, she creates and maintains client and Care Professional schedules with an emphasis on fostering high-quality matches. She is also responsible for communicating with clients, family members, Care Professionals, and other key team members regarding any issues or changes that could affect a client’s care or a Care Professional’s schedule.
Briana Randolph, Recruiting & Engagement Coordinator
Briana joined Home Instead in May 2025 as Recruiting & Engagement Coordinator, where she focuses on connecting compassionate individuals with meaningful careers in caregiving. She leads recruitment efforts, supports onboarding, and works to thoughtfully match caregivers with clients to help build strong, lasting relationships. Briana remains actively engaged with new hires by checking in regularly, offering guidance, and ensuring every team member feels supported and valued.
Originally from Saint Joseph, Missouri, Briana earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri and her master’s degree from Pittsburg State University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling internationally and spending time with her dog, Millie.
Emily Blair, Administrative Assistant
Emily joined Home Instead in March 2025 and supports daily office operations while ensuring caregivers and families receive the assistance they need. She plays an important role in maintaining smooth communication and helping keep administrative processes running efficiently. Emily earned her Associate of Applied Science in Business Management from North Central Missouri College in May 2024 and plans to pursue her bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring new places, and traveling whenever possible.
Stefani Haag, On-Call Coordinator
Stefani joined Home Instead in January 2024 and serves as one of the On-Call Coordinators, sharing weekends and overnight coverage. She provides support during the week from Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM to 7:30 AM, and on weekends from 4:30 PM Friday to 8:00 AM Monday. Stefani is responsible for handling calls and resolving scheduling issues, ensuring continuity of care for clients and support for caregivers.
She works full-time in special education and enjoys playing pickleball and spending time with her grandchildren.
Kori Hughes, On-Call Coordinator
Kori joined Home Instead in November 2025 and serves as one of the On-Call Coordinators, sharing weekends and overnight coverage. She provides support during the week from Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM to 7:30 AM, and on weekends from 4:30 PM Friday to 8:00 AM Monday. Stefani is responsible for handling calls and resolving scheduling issues, ensuring continuity of care for clients and support for caregivers.
In her free time, Kori enjoys spending time with her children and has a passion for nutrition.
