Home Helper Care

Job Description:  

• Cleaning: Clean and sanitize living areas like the kitchen and bathrooms and wipe down frequently touched areas like handles on the fridge, light switches, and channel changers, then dust and vacuum the home.  Organizing and assisting with projects and laundry.
• Inventory: Maintain supplies for the client’s home, help with unloading groceries, restock the kitchen, and ensure soaps and other supplies are available.
• Health and safety: Ensure the health and safety of clients are maintained.  Provide reminders for medications when instructed and trained.
• Customer service: Interact with clients and provide companionship.  Take them out into the community for services and food as directed.  Play cards, have conversations, or watch movies with clients who are interested in being entertained.
• Document management: At clock out, report what you did during shifts with the client or for them with chores and projects.
• Reporting: Alerting the office about changes in client conditions regarding their well-being and health status.
• Kitchen helper: Take out the garbage, wash dishes, unload food supplies, and help cooks prepare meals.
• Grooming: Help clients stay safe while in the shower by handing them supplies, assisting them in and out of tubs or showers, and providing grooming assistance and hygiene maintenance.
• Errands Around Town: Drive the client to appointments around the community, such as salon appointments, doctor appointments, shopping trips, and restaurant visits.
• WAGES:  $15.00 to $19.00 per hour
