September 2025 Care Professional of the Month: Rita
Rita is a dedicated Care Professional with extensive experience supporting individuals in need of daily living assistance and 24-hour care. For the past two years, she has been honored to care for a client who suffered a stroke three years ago that affected her right leg and hand.
In her role, Rita provides compassionate, comprehensive support that promotes safety, dignity, and independence. She accompanies her client to both physical and aqua therapy sessions, collaborating closely with therapists to learn and reinforce the exercises essential to her client’s continued recovery. At home, she assists with mobility—helping her client transition between a walker and motorized wheelchair and ensuring she remains steady and confident as she walks the hallway with her new leg brace. Rita also assists with meal preparation and activities of daily living (ADLs).
Her approach to care is hands-on, patient, and focused on her client’s overall well-being. From personal care assistance and therapeutic exercise support to emotional encouragement, Rita strives to create a safe and uplifting environment that fosters both progress and comfort.
Providing high-quality elder care is more than a profession for Rita—it’s a calling. She takes great pride in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves every day.
