Jennifer and Ben Marchi, Owners
Meet Benjamin and Jennifer Marchi, franchise owners of the Mid-Eastern Shore office, purchasing the family owned business in 2012. Jennifer received an Undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Public Administration and Policy from Virginia Tech. Benjamin previously worked in politics and government affairs. Their goal is to provide their clients with the highest level of care possible and to also provide their Care Professionals with the support and training tools necessary to be the leader in this industry. When they are not in the office, they are chasing after their two small boys!

Barbie, Business Manager
Barbie joined Home Instead in 2019 and brings extensive management experience in office technology, marketing, communications, strategic planning, training, customer service, and franchise development. She is responsible for the daily business operations and prides herself on creating a positive experience for our clients while supporting our exceptional team of Care Professionals. She has a deep appreciation for the life changing impact quality in-home care can have on older adults. When she's not managing the business, you can find Barbie spending time with her 3 children, cooking and traveling.

Jane, Client Care Manager
Jane has been enjoying her position as Client Care Manager since 2012. In her position, she meets with families, gathering information about our new clients to ensure our Care Professionals are successful in the home. Jane also provides assistance to families, making referrals for resources like home health or hospice. With a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration, Jane has obtained the skills needed in today's ever-changing healthcare setting. Information about Alzheimer's and other dementias is a strong asset of hers, providing education to the community and our Care Professionals. Jane enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as a variety of hobbies in her free time.

April, Recruitment & Retention Coordinator
April has a very important role as our Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. Her fundamental knowledge of the industry allows her to support Care Professionals as they complete their orientation and become valuable members of the Home Instead Team. April believes in promoting the independence of aging adults as well as growing strong, lasting relationships to ensure the highest level quality care for clients. In her free time, April enjoys spending time with her family, especially her 3 sons and grandson!

Terri, Scheduling Coordinator
Terri has been a part of the Home Instead family as a Staffing Coordinator since 2013! Terri herself has been a caregiver for over 30 years, so her experience is vast! She is able to apply her experiences of caregiving to finding the right match for our clients. In her spare time, Terri loves spending time with her two children and three grandchildren. She also loves to cook and bake and keeps the office well fed!

Angie S., Service Coordinator
Angie joined the Home Instead family in 2024 with over 20 years of experience in the senior care industry. Angie started her career as a caregiver and worked her way up to managing an assisted living community. This is where she developed her love for working with older adults and an appreciation for personalized services. Angie believes in promoting the independence of aging adults as well as growing strong, lasting relationships to ensure the highest-level quality care for our Clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and trying out new recipes.

Angie G. , Client Care & Office Coordinator
Angie joined Home Instead in 2024 with extensive administrative experience, most recently serving as a community ambassador in an assisted living facility. With first-hand experience in how the relationships between the Client and Care Pro’s become long-lasting, she’s excited to be a part of a team that values helping others and providing the best care. In her role, she assists the team with recruitment and hiring of Care Pros, coordinating client care, marketing and special projects. When she's not in the office, you can find Angie spending time with her family and friends, cooking and traveling.

Marion, Delegating R.N.
Marion joined the Home Instead Team in 2023. Marion is responsible for conducting the initial assessment for new clients and 90-day follow-up assessments.

Karla, Delegating Nurse
Karla is a registered nurse with over 30 years of skilled care experience, both in the clinical and home health care settings. She is dedicated to providing the highest level of professional care and compassion for our Clients. Karla completes initial assessments and 90-day reviews with our Clients as well as Orientation for new Care Pros. Her passion is to help make a difference in our seniors’ lives, a heartwarming and rewarding journey. In her free time, Karla enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering for 4-H and Hospice in Talbot County.

Andrea, Delegating R.N.
Andrea joined the Home Instead Team in 2022. She has been nursing for over 40 years in Talbot County and is certified in Case Management. Andrea is responsible for conducting the initial assessment for new clients and 90-day follow-up assessments. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering in local and national organizations.

Our Care Professionals
Our compassionate Care Professionals are residents of the Eastern Shore and are carefully screened, fully bonded and insured. Each takes part in our exclusive multi-phase training program. We place a high priority on matching our Care Professionals with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well-being and support the senior's needs with respect and dignity.
