About the Care Professional
Claretta has a deep passion for helping older adults, and it is truly an honor for her to support those who need care and companionship. Through her work in elder care, she has gained invaluable wisdom, knowledge, and understanding from the people she has served. Claretta says “I began my care giving journey years ago with another Home Instead location in Delaware, and after exploring other career paths, I felt called to return to the work I love. When I saw a position open at Home Instead in Berlin, Maryland, I reached out and spoke with Mrs. Cathy, who has since retired. Over the years, I have cared for many clients—some who have passed, and others I continue to support today—each of whom holds a special place in my heart. For more than 10 years, I’ve been honored to provide compassionate Alzheimer’s care and dementia care, and I pray I am able to continue serving with Home Instead for many years to come.”
