After retiring from over 30 years of government service, Cipriana felt called to return to her true passion—serving seniors. Caring for her mother reignited her drive to become a Care Professional, and she has brought her dedication and heart to Home Instead ever since.
Cipriana’s favorite part of caregiving is engaging with her clients, listening deeply, and connecting through the "heartbeat of life." Whether providing respite care or supporting a client with Alzheimer’s or dementia, she fosters trust through compassion and patience, unlocking moments of joy and laughter.
Cipriana’s advice for other Care Professionals is simple yet powerful: “Be kind, be patient, be empathetic. Treat every client with respect and dignity—they have stories to tell, even in silence.” This mindset is especially important in Alzheimer’s care and dementia care, where understanding and emotional presence are key.
