Every year, the Home Instead team looks forward to participating in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This tradition is so important as it gathers family, friends, and care partners united by a common mission to end alzheimer's.
Saturday was an absolutely beautiful day as we gathered with over one hundred teams to walk, dance, and make a difference. Our community was so generous and raised over $107,000 for the cause! While the event is over, they are still accepting donations on the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's - New Orleans, LA Page.
The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and critical funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. The money raised fuels the Alzheimer's Association, which provides essential resources like its free 24/7 Helpline, local support groups, and educational programs for families navigating this disease. It also boosts global research efforts aimed at finding a cure.

At Home Instead, we consider it a privilege to walk beside those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia every single day. We see the challenges and the need for trustworthy support in the home. By participating in events like this, we proudly advocate for our clients and their families as we continue to provide the best home care in Metairie, Louisiana. We are already looking forward to next year and hope to see you there!
