Lisa Rabito, Franchise Owner
Nothing means more to Home Instead franchise owner Lisa Rabito than family. The New Orleans-area native is surrounded by a close-knit, loving family that includes husband Mark, sons Matthew and Christian, and daughter Laura.
Every member of Lisa’s family has embraced a benevolent career that involves helping others. Lisa, who grew up in a warm family setting and graduated Mount Carmel Academy, is a Louisiana State University grad.
Lisa has another family. It is the Home Instead staff and Caregivers, as well as the Metairie franchise’s clients and their families. Lisa’s Home Instead family has served the Orleans and Jefferson Parishes for nearly 20 years. “For me,” Lisa firmly said, “everything is about relationships. With strong family ties, you have an authentic count-on-me stability, dignity, respect and help when it’s requested. Everything about Home Instead is like family to us.”

Christian Rabito, General Manager
My tenure at Home Instead these past 10 years has helped shape me into the person I am today – I started as a Caregiver, worked in the billing and payroll department, hired and recruited Caregivers, worked as the marketing director for 8 years, and currently have been promoted to the General Manager position. I want to learn each and every day about not only this company, but also the home care industry in general. I believe this industry is ever-evolving, and I want to make sure we are well equipped to handle the needs of our client base and Care Professionals. I am a husband to my wonderful wife Katie, a father to my baby boy Remy (and 2 cats), and an avid Saints and LSU fan. I graduated from Jesuit High School, then received my undergraduate degree at LSU in Management, and finally graduated from Loyola with my MBA.

Tiffany Smith, Scheduling Coordinator
I have been with Home Instead for 10 years in September 2023. I started off as a Caregiver. I have always loved caring for others and giving back. I wear many hats at Home Instead, like working on-call staffing, assistant admin staffing, and now Staffing in the office. I enjoy making connections with Care Pros and clients. I also get the joy of hearing some of the most wonderful stories from clients, client family members, and our Care Pros. Lastly, I am so proud to say that my grandmother, Bobbie Smith, won Caregiver of the year in 2012. She has always been such an inspiration to me and taught me how to care for others and to respect my elders. If I am lucky, I will become a senior, one day.

Linda DeSue, RN
I have been a nurse for over 50 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have worked in acute care hospitals and long term care before coming to Home Instead. Home Instead enables me to connect with clients and Care Pros and help wherever I am needed. I have been with Home Instead for 5 plus years, starting as a Care Pro, and then moving into education and training , and also into the Client Care realm.
Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA, I am part of a legacy of blue collar hard working individuals . Go Steelers! As the oldest of 10 children, I have been a caregiver all of my life. I truly feel I am where I was meant to be.

Amber DeLuca, Home Care Consultant
I have been in marketing for six years now. I love having the opportunity to meet so many amazing individuals every day. My whole life I have always loved to connect with people. I am fairly new to the healthcare industry but working in senior care has truly touched my heart. Contributing to helping make a difference in their lives has been a blessing and never like a day of work.

Blenda Miles, Account Specialist
Blenda is a wife, a mother of 2 grown children, a daughter, and a sister, so she truly understands the importance of relationships. With over 30 years in the accounting field, Blenda merges her values in family and her gift in accounting to give heart to numbers!

Elaine Cucinello, Inquiry Specialist
elaine.cucinello@homeinstead.com
I am the Caregiver Liaison for Home Instead Metairie office. My passion is taking care of people and seeing them happy. In my personal life, my husband, Gary, and I have two daughters and six grandchildren. I love doing things with my family, and that includes things like playing board games, boating, fishing, crabbing, cooking or just hanging out.
My passion carries over into my professional life because I want to see our Seniors have the best quality of life possible in their later years. The same goes for our Caregivers…I want them to be happy doing what they do, and to have the best tools possible in order to properly take care of our Seniors. I try my best to resolve any concerns that the Caregivers may have, and to show that they are appreciated by thanking them and rewarding them for a job well done.
I've been told by people that they can tell that I really care about the work that I do. I guess when you're doing something that you love, it shows! I think the fact that I have a lot of empathy and compassion for people helps.
I also love my church family! I volunteer one Sunday a month right now, but when I have more time in the future, I plan on being more involved.

Lynne-Marie Ruckert, Human Resources Representative
Being a boy mom and knowing the importance of family are important aspects of life for Lynne-Marie. I started working for Home Instead in 2014 in the Staffing Office, building relationships with clients and CAREGivers. When I became a Client Care Coordinator- it changed my life. Getting to share stories with our Seniors is the best part of my day! Having families know they can trust us to care for their loved one when they cannot be there is the icing on the cake. I get to interact with our clients and CAREGivers in so many ways and share in successes and in sorrow. I helped care for my own grandparents growing up and use what I learned from them to live my life to the fullest. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of New Orleans. I live in Harahan with my husband and 2 sons.

Scarlet Plocher, Home Care Consultant
I first started working with Home Instead in 2017 as the Home Care Consultant as well as being the Social Media/Website Manager.
When I first entered this role, I had no clue how much my life would change. All of the insightful information I would come to learn would directly play a role in my personal life. I was raised by my grandparents and learning more about quality aging has helped me to walk my own grandparents through this transition in their lives.
I enjoy making connections with others in the healthcare field as well as helping to educate with CEUs, in-services and one on one meetings with helpful resources for aging adults. Our company also adopts around 1500 seniors each year with the help of our local community for our Be a Santa to a Senior Program.
Hopefully, we will all live long enough to become senior adults, who age gracefully with a quality life. Information and education are so valuable to have and that's what I would love to help with!

Ashley Heffker, Director of Client Care
I started with Home Instead Senior Care 4 years ago and I truly enjoy every minute of it. Caring for our seniors brings so much joy to my life. I love knowing I can make a difference in theirs. I received my degree in nursing from Charity School of Nursing and before that, I was a certified Horticulturist for the state of Louisiana. My joke to everyone is that I can save a human and a plant at the same time. My role at Home Instead Senior Care is to make sure our seniors get everything they need. I am an advocate with our CAREGivers for our seniors when they and their families help. I am a mother to two wonderful teenage boys and a bonus parent to my beautiful stepdaughters. My goal in life is to make everyone laugh.

Hillary Fleming, Client Care Manager
I was born and raised in the beautiful city of New Roads, LA. For over 20 years, I've devoted myself to working with seniors. In December 2023, I embraced a new chapter by joining the Home Instead family, a move I truly cherish. Three qualities define me: love, passion, and dedication. Firstly, I find immense joy in working with seniors and people. Secondly, I am deeply passionate about meeting the needs of others. Lastly, my dedication drives me to deliver exceptional service and ensure satisfaction. Beyond work, I treasure spending time with my loving family, friends, and especially my amazing husband.

Brittany Colson, Client Care Manager
brittany.colson@homeinstead.
I have worked in social services since 2009 and I have enjoyed assisting families with resources and care. I was raised by my grandparents and helped care for them when they couldn’t care for themselves. This has fueled my passion for senior care, and it is truly a pleasure working with our clients and care professionals every day. Beyond work, I enjoy crafting, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.

Sade Howard, Recruitment Specialist
Being new to Home Instead, I am thrilled to serve the senior community as a Scheduling Coordinator. I bring a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of others to my role. Born and raised in New York, my journey began by being raised by my amazing grandparents, where I learned the importance of helping and caring for others.
I’ve also had the privilege of supporting individuals with disabilities, helping them develop essential life skills and promoting community integration. These skills have proven invaluable in my current role, allowing me to anticipate and meet the needs of others with compassion, efficiency, and ensure that every client receives the personalized care they deserve. I'm passionate about expanding my knowledge and skills in supporting individuals and communities. I'm excited to contribute to the Home Instead team and make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and their families.

Paula Stewart, Service Coordinator
As a proud native New Orleanian, I bring a sense of Southern hospitality to every client that I have the privilege of serving as a Service Coordinator with Home Instead. I am truly grateful to be part of this amazing team and to share over 15 years of experience advocating for and supporting clients throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
My passion for working with aging adults began at the young age of seven, inspired by my mother’s compassionate care for my Great Aunt, who was bravely battling Alzheimer’s. Shadowing my mom during those tender moments sparked a lifelong curiosity and commitment to serving others with empathy.
When I am not piecing together the puzzle of care coordination to ensure our clients and their families receive the support they desire, I cherish quality time with my wonderful family, friends, and beloved fur babies.
