At Home Instead, we proudly stand beside the Alzheimer’s Association in its mission to end Alzheimer’s and all other forms of dementia. The team just took part in the Southwestern Indiana Walk to End Alzheimer’s, held at Friedman Park in Newburgh, IN. The day was filled with hope as teams from across the area came together to walk for loved ones affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
Our team had a booth set up during the event and joined the walk to honor our family, friends, and clients who have faced this disease. One of the most special moments of the day was seeing our very own Business Development Manager’s daughter hold the white flower, symbolizing the first person in the future to be cured of Alzheimer’s. The Southwest Indiana community raised over $82,500, and donations are still being accepted through the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Southwest Indiana Page.
It’s moments like these that remind us of the strength of our community. As Home Instead strives to provide the best home care in Newburgh, IN, we’ll continue walking and supporting those living with dementia and their families until the day we can truly say we live in a world without Alzheimer’s.
