Brad Dahleen, Franchise Owner
Brad grew up in Worth, Illinois, and spent the majority of his career in sales, with notable roles including 9 years at Central Ink Corporation, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for 6 years, and 17 years at INX International. Before his sales career, Brad proudly served in the Army Reserves as a medic and later as a psychiatric specialist.
Brad is deeply passionate about his role as the owner of Home Instead Senior Care. “I feel very fortunate to be a Home Instead owner. Helping seniors age in their own homes is a great thing to be able to do, and I look forward to each day!” Brad has also served as a trustee and elder in his church, further reflecting his commitment to service and leadership in his community.

Dar Dahleen, Franchise Owner
Dar grew up in Orland Park, Illinois, and is a CPA with over 25 years of experience in public accounting, serving as a manager and trusted advisor to clients throughout her career. She earned an Associate’s degree in Science from Moraine Valley Community College and a B.A. in Business Administration from Governor’s State University.
Dar’s first experience with Home Instead came while working as a CPA for several franchise owners. Through this experience, she gained an appreciation for the services Home Instead provides and the genuine empathy involved in caring for seniors. When the opportunity to own a Home Instead franchise became available, Dar was eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.
With a strong focus on service, Dar is dedicated to meeting the needs of seniors in the community, helping them remain independent and live comfortably in their homes. Her commitment to this mission is deeply personal: "I watched both of my grandmothers spend the end of their lives in nursing homes. One had dementia, and the other had several strokes that left her almost paralyzed. I decided then that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of seniors, to keep them in their own homes. The need is so great for services like ours, and there are not many opportunities available to seniors. Now, I can offer them an alternative that allows them to stay where they’re most comfortable—at home."

Tricia Trendle-Marker, General Manager
Tricia graduated from Lewis University with a B.A. in Psychology, and from the start of her career, she knew she wanted to dedicate her work to helping those who needed it most—the elderly. After graduating in June 2011, Tricia began her journey with Home Instead as a Caregiver. In March 2012, she transitioned to the office as the Client Care Coordinator. Over the years, Tricia has held every role in the office, gaining invaluable experience and a deep understanding of both caregiving and the operational side of the business.
In her current role as General Manager, Tricia oversees the daily operations of Home Instead Palos Heights, ensuring the smooth delivery of services while also focusing on the company’s growth and development. Her hands-on experience in every aspect of the business, combined with her passion for senior care, allows her to lead the team with both compassion and expertise.
“After watching my mother care of my grandmother for my entire childhood, I learned that the elderly need an advocate. Society overlooks them, but they truly need a voice to speak out for them when they cannot and make sure they are getting the proper care needed to keep them safe, in their homes, and independent as long as possible.”

Carli Giglio, Staffing Manager

With over 7 years of experience in healthcare scheduling and recruiting prior to joining Home Instead, Carli is deeply committed to providing the highest quality service to both clients and caregivers. One of her greatest motivations is the memory of her late grandfather, who instilled in her the importance of helping others with kindness and compassion.
