Home Instead loves getting out and engaging with the community! There is nothing better than having the opportunity to engage with older adults and their families to let them know about the numerous benefits of home care.
Thanks to the wonderful Prairie Council on Aging, our team had a fantastic time at their annual Senior Day Event held at Hamilton's Catering in Jacksonville! Our team members, Jesse and Mike, set up our Home Instead table and met with many residents and local leaders throughout the day.
The Senior Day Event was a huge success, offering a wide variety of activities and helpful resources for seniors and their families, including informational booths with helpful resources, quilt raffles, door prizes, Bread of Love Meals, and the addition of the Prairie Council’s first Book Swap!
Events like this highlight the vibrant network of support available to older adults in our area. Meeting face-to-face allows us to better understand the needs of seniors and families so we can continue to deliver the best home care in Jacksonville, IL.
