Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

DeKalb, IL and surrounding cities

Objective: The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, screening, hiring, and onboarding caregivers (we call ours Care Pros), as well as executing and organizing all training programs in order to provide the highest quality of service to clients. In addition, this position is responsible for the development and engagement of Care Pros while fostering a high-quality culture and reducing turnover. This position will require wearing multiple hats in the office, and must have the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment. The job is on site in DeKalb, IL.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new recruitment strategies online and within the community
  • Ensure company standards are met and upheld
  • Maintain ATS system, addressing and engaging all leads/applications
  • Maintain accurate records of applicants through hiring process
  • Schedule and conduct Care Pro Interviews
  • Request any needed documentation for applicants & employee files in compliance with state and federal laws
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with leadership team, colleagues, Care Pros, clients, and family members
  • Reflect the core values of Mondi & Associates, Inc. dba Home Instead
  • Schedule and lead Care Pro training including Alzheimer's and Dementia Training and continuing education learning plans required to meet Home Instead® Standards
  • Schedule and conduct Care Pro annual reviews and all supervision including regular performance conversations, accountabilities, and problem resolution
  • Develop new engagement strategies to promote Care Pro retention and satisfaction
  • Evaluate and update all training materials as needed
  • Work in partnership with the office team to coordinate Care Pro schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and extraordinary relationships
  • Achieve NET Care Professional goals for the location
  • Prepare and publish the monthly newsletter
  • Develop, plan, and facilitate quarterly Care Pro Meetings
  • Monitor compliance for local and federal labor and safety laws including EOE, ADA, FMLA, and SHA.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Two years’ experience in recruitment is required
  • Two years of facilitation/training experience or an equivalent combination of education and additional work experience may be considered
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, active car insurance, and your own vehicle
  • Associate's degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Mondi & Associates, Inc. dba Home Instead
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral & written communication skills, and the ability to listen effectively both in-person & over the phone
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information, and meet deadlines
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, as well as sound judgment and good decision-making
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly work
  • Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with office colleagues, the franchise owner, clients, and the community
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must have the ability to operate Home Instead technology systems
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in ATS programs, Word, and Excel
  • Must be able to work evenings or weekends as required, including rotating on-call nights & weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
