Home Instead is hiring part time caregivers to perform the essential work of keeping aging adults safe and comfortable at home. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Client Location(s): Primarily for clients living in Princeton, Peru, and La Salle.
Prior to working for our clients, all Home Instead caregivers—we call ours Care Pros—will go through specific paid training designed by Home Instead and will receive an in-house certification in Personal Care tasks. These tasks include demonstrating ability to assist our clients with grooming, bathing, continence care, and mobility. After training, our Care Pros will feel confident going into the client’s home and helping to support their emotional, physical and mental well-being.

Care Pro Benefits
- $16/hr. Overtime and holidays are paid at time and a half, miles driven in your car while clocked in are paid at $0.70/mile. Paychecks are direct deposit twice a month.

Requirements to be a Home Instead Care Pro are:
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, with a willingness to transport clients as needed is a requirement
- The travel expectation for this position includes going to clients in Princeton, Ladd, La Salle, Peru, Hennepin, Sheffield, other surrounding communities.
- Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
- Demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness
- Must be available to work a schedule of 12-20 hours per week
- Preferred availability of 8am-4pm Monday-Sunday for part-time employment.
