Reports to: General Manager / Scheduling Manager / Owner
About the Role:
At Home Instead®, our Care Professionals provide trusted, non-medical support that helps seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We are currently hiring for all shifts—days, evenings, overnights, and weekends—with a requirement of availability every other weekend.
This role is ideal for dependable, compassionate individuals—including CNA-trained professionals—who want to make a meaningful difference in a flexible home care setting.

What You’ll Do:
Provide consistent, respectful care that reflects the values of Home Instead®.
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation.
Support with non-medical personal care, such as grooming, toileting, and bathing.
Assist with mobility, including transfers (with Hoyer lift support when applicable).
Provide medication reminders and transport clients to appointments or errands.
Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and walking assistance.
Maintain accurate notes and promptly report any changes in condition to your supervisor.
Requirements:
Availability for a variety of shifts and every other weekend.
Experience as a caregiver; CNA certification preferred but not required.
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
Willingness to travel within Scott County, IA and Rock Island County, IL only.
Must pass a background check through IDPH, drug screening, and have a clean driving record.
Physically able to assist with client mobility, perform light lifting (up to 25 lbs), and navigate home environments.
Comfortable using basic technology for training and documentation.
