The holidays are a cause for celebration, and this year, Valdosta is making the season shine even brighter. As part of Lowndes County’s 200th anniversary celebration, residents are invited to gather for the Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, November 28th, at 6pm. It's sure to be an evening filled with family fun, music, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa himself!
This annual tradition is for all ages. It’s the perfect chance for seniors, families, and friends to share in the magic of the holidays and make memories beneath the lights of Valdosta’s grand Christmas tree at the Lowndes County Courthouse, 100 E Central Ave. We encourage everyone to join in the fun and kick off the holidays right.
