Shea was born and raised in the Twin Cities, MN. She came to Georgia to earn her Bachelor's of Psychology and Minor in Theatre at the University of Georgia and has remained in the Peach State ever since. Shea began recruiting fresh out of college in 2017 and discovered she loved working in a position that could perfectly mix meeting new people and delivering good news daily. She began with Home Instead in January 2025 and found that recruiting can be twice as rewarding as she once thought, finding meaningful jobs for top tier caregivers and changing the lives of seniors in the community! Shea hopes to continue to grow with Home Instead for many years to come. Out of office, she spends every possible moment with her fiancé and toddler son. The three love cooking, bowling, spending time outside together, and weekend movie marathons.

Nicole brings over 13 years of experience across recruiting, human resources, and operations, with a proven track record in high-volume hiring, seamless onboarding, and providing strong team support. With a passion for connecting people and building meaningful relationships, Nicole is dedicated to creating positive candidate and employee experiences that leave a lasting impression. Throughout her career, Nicole has thrived in fast-paced environments, helping teams stay organized, efficient, and empowered to succeed. Her approachable style, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence make her a trusted partner in supporting both individuals and organizations as they grow. Outside of her professional life, Nicole is happily married, a proud mom of three, and recently celebrated the exciting new role of becoming a grandmother. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she loves making memories through quality time together and traveling whenever possible.

Amy brings a wealth of experience and heartfelt compassion to her role at Home Instead, joining the team in the spring of 2025. A graduate of West Georgia College with a degree in Nursing, Amy is celebrating her 30th year as a Registered Nurse-a milestone that reflects her lifelong dedication to patient care. For the past 18 years, Amy has specialized in home health care, where she has provided skilled, empathetic support to individuals and families navigating complex health needs. Her deep understanding of both clinical practice and the emotional needs of aging clients makes her a valuable asset to the Home Instead team. Amy is passionate about creating a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for seniors to age in place. Her commitment to quality care, combined with her warm and personable approach, helps build trust and peace of mind for the clients and families she serves.

Gabbie Johnson

Gabbie joined the Home Instead team in August 2024, bringing with her a strong clinical background and a passion for compassionate care. She began her nursing career on a medical-surgical floor and has spent the majority of her time in surgical care, specializing in pre-op and post-anesthesia recovery. As a Registered Nurse with Home Instead, Gabbie enjoys the opportunity to combine her clinical expertise with client-centered care-whether she's conducting in-home nurse visits or leading PCA trainings in the office. Outside of work, Gabbie is married to her high school sweetheart and is a proud mom to two energetic young boys, ages 3 and 5. Their days are filled with trips to the park, little league games, fort-building, and the occasional toddler squabble. The family also includes a spirited 12-year-old cockapoo who keeps everyone on their toes. In her rare downtime, Gabbie enjoys traveling, reading fiction, discovering new restaurants-and of course, trying out the best local ice cream spots. She's grateful that Home Instead allows her to continue growing as a nurse while maintaining the flexibility to be present with her family.

With several years of experience supporting medical teams, she has developed expertise in insurance verification, claims follow-up, schedule management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Lyra holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and brings both organizational skills and a passion for service to her role. She thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in being part of a team that works behind the scenes to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Outside of work, Lyra is a proud mom to her almost 3-year-old daughter. She enjoys balancing her professional growth with family life and is always eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a mission-driven team.

Kaitlyn Cook serves as the People Operations Manager at Home Instead, bringing over eight years of experience in human resources. Passionate about people and building meaningful connections, Kaitlyn is deeply committed to fostering a supportive, compliant, and values-driven work environment. In her role, she focuses on HR compliance, cultivating a strong and positive culture, and strengthening engagement through caregiver recognition and appreciation programs. Kaitlyn believes that when people feel seen, supported, and valued, they are empowered to do their best work. Outside of her professional life, Kaitlyn is the proud owner of a cottage home bakery, where she pours her love, creativity, and faith into every sweet treat she creates.In her downtime, you'll often find her curled up under a warm blanket with a good book or spending meaningful quality time with her family.
