The special bond between seniors and their pets brings comfort and unconditional love to daily life. For many older adults, their furry friends are like family, which makes supporting local animal rescue efforts feel extra meaningful. Home Instead is excited to spotlight a weekly community event where you can enjoy a lively night out while helping rescue animals in our area!
Wednesday Night Bingo takes place every week at the Pat Haralson Memorial Civic Center, 165 Wellborn St. Doors open at 6pm, with games kicking off at 7pm. Over 70 players gather each week to play for total payouts exceeding $1,200, including a grand prize of $600 (or $1,000 on the final game of the night). Game packages start at just $15, with light refreshments available for purchase. Because all proceeds directly benefit Castoff Pet Rescue, every game played helps provide medical care, love, and second chances to animals waiting for their forever homes.
If you're looking to add a dog or cat to your family, check out the Castoff Pet Rescue Website.
