As the owner, he is responsible for day to day operations of the business, as well as networking with professionals in our community and meeting with families to discuss services. Andrew is also the founder of the Senior Life Education and Wellness Center that focuses on giving back to Seniors that have financial or supply needs. Prior to opening the Blairsville office, Andrew worked as a Community Service Representative for another Home Instead Senior Care office, where he was responsible for their marketing. He also spent over six years as the Director of Marketing and Associate Broker for Coldwell Banker, and spent several years with The Ritz Carlton. Andrew was born and raised in Georgia. His best friends were his grandmother and grandfather until their passing, and spent time caring for both of them.

Freddy Matos is the General Manager of the Home Instead Blairsville office. He joined our team in June 2017, bringing with him a background in sales, training, and property management. With his experience working with people and expertise in senior care developed over the years, Freddy plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office. As the General Manager, he provides genuine dedication to client satisfaction making him an asset to our team. He aims to ensure every interaction with Home Instead is met with professionalism and care. Freddy's friendly greeting and easy demeanor makes everyone feel right at home, whether they are calling or visiting our office. Originally from Southeast Florida, Freddy and his wife of 15 years call the North Georgia mountains home where they spend time with their 5 children, exploring all that the area has to offer. His love for the area and dedication to our team is evident in his commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients, Care Professionals, and office staff.

Cindy Smith is a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for overseeing and creating personalized care plans for each senior we serve at Home Instead. She plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of care and compliance is achieved. Cindy's journey in healthcare began when she graduated from Jefferson Community College in Louisville, Kentucky earning an associate degree in nursing. As a registered nurse, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Her background encompasses critical care, emergency services, telephonic nursing, toxicology, addiction recovery, IV infusion, and home health. This diverse range of experiences equips her with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape. In addition to overseeing care plans, Cindy is responsible for training and supervising our dedicated Care Professionals. Her expertise and attention to detail ensure that our team operates with the highest level of professionalism and delivers outstanding care to our clients. Cindy's extensive knowledge, compassionate approach, and steadfast dedication make her an essential part of our team. Her commitment to providing the best possible care and fostering a warm and supportive environment for our clients and staff alike ensures that our seniors receive the exceptional care they deserve. Outside of work, Cindy finds joy in pursuing her hobbies. She takes pleasure in gardening, immersing herself in captivating books, exploring the breathtaking North Georgia Mountains, and cherishing quality time spent with her friends and family.

Amy Witte joined Home Instead in January 2019, initially working at the New York office before transferring to the Home Instead Blairsville office in late 2021 as our Daily Operations Specialist. With previous experience as a staffing coordinator for nursing agencies in Atlanta, Georgia, she brought valuable expertise to her role. She goes above and beyond to handle every call with empathy, remaining calm and professional in any situation. Amy's pleasant Southern charm shines through in her conversations, making it a pleasure to speak with her on the phone. In her position at Home Instead, she plays a vital role in ensuring that each client and Care Pro receives the help they need. Beyond her professional life, Amy finds great happiness in spending time with her family, supporting her kids in their sporting events, and taking pride in being a mom to eight children.
