The Home Instead team has found another cute, holiday-themed event that seniors and families can enjoy together. On Tuesday, December 16th, from 2 to 4pm in the Learning Lab at the Gulf Gate Library, 7112 Curtiss Avenue, you can create a Snow Globe Mason Jar Topper.
Instead of a traditional water-filled globe, you’ll be crafting a timeless winter scene that sits right on top of a mason jar lid. Use it to decorate your own kitchen or to fill it with treats and gifts for a friend or a kind caregiver. All materials are provided, and the event is free for adults. However, seating is limited, so be sure to pick up a line ticket at the Reference Desk to save your spot.
