Christian & Betsy Miller

Christian & Betsy Miller

Co-Owners

Christian and Betsy Miller embarked on their journey with Home Instead in December of 2013. Their passion for home care was sparked after assisting with the care of Christian's grandmother, where they realized the true value of providing care at home. Inspired by this experience, they decided to share this life-changing option with other families, seeing it as a perfect fit for their own. In the early years, with young children at home, it truly felt like a family-run business. Their kids witnessed firsthand how crucial it was to be responsive and available, answering calls on weekends and after hours, understanding that their work made a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. After a decade in the business, Home Instead holds a special place in their hearts, particularly for the seniors in Clay and Duval counties. They are proud to be a trusted resource in their community. Betsy earned her degree in finance from Florida State University and has a diverse background in sales, marketing, office support, and senior care. After spending time in the finance industry, she and her husband made the decision to transition into home healthcare, driven by personal experience and a deep sense of compassion. Throughout her life, Betsy has always been dedicated to community involvement. While raising their children, she was an active participant in the PTA, Junior League, Children's Home Society, and numerous other local initiatives. She is also a member of the Clay County Senior Advocacy Council and sponsors "Be A Santa to a Senior." In her free time, Betsy enjoys playing golf and tennis, as well as spending quality time with her family. Christian holds degrees in economics and accounting from Florida State University and an MBA from Jacksonville University. His career in finance began after he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Christian has held key positions, including CFO for Creative Learning Corporation and Controller for companies such as Pinovia Holdings, Pilot Pen, and Trailer Bridge. He currently serves as the CFO for V's Pizza and SleepGeez, Inc. Outside of his professional pursuits, Christian enjoys reading, playing golf, and staying active to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Together, Christian and Betsy bring their combined expertise, passion, and commitment to serving their community, making Home Instead a vital and trusted presence in the lives of local families.
