Good nutrition is key for healthy aging, helping seniors maintain their strength and energy. That’s why older adults need to have access to reliable meal programs. As part of our promise to support seniors in our community, we’re spotlighting the San Fernando Senior Nutrition Program.

The San Fernando Senior Nutrition Program, located at Las Palmas Park in the Banquet Room at 505 S. Huntington St., offers the Senior Nutrition Program, which provides nutritious meals to seniors 60 years and older. The program runs from Monday through Friday, starting with socializing and coffee at 9 am, and a meal served at 11am. A suggested donation of $3 is appreciated for seniors, while non-seniors can partake for $5.

For homebound seniors, the program also offers a Home Delivered Meal Program. This service delivers meals to eligible seniors who reside within the city.
