This week, Home Instead launched our annual "Be a Santa to a Senior" program, inviting the San Bruno community to help spread holiday cheer to those who need it most.
Now in its 20th year nationwide, this Home Instead tradition helps bring joy and connection to older adults who could use a little extra support. Seniors often only ask for small necessities, like a pillow, a broom, or a blanket, but these gifts make a HUGE difference for disabled or disheartened older adults.
There is a tree with tags representing older adults in need right now at the CVS in San Bruno! If you're in the giving spirit, follow these steps to be a Santa for a local senior:
How to Participate:
- Select a bulb/tag from the tree located inside the CVS at 1150 El Camino Real, San Bruno, CA 94066.
- Purchase the item(s) listed on the tag.
- Place the bulb and the unwrapped gift(s) together in the designated collection area.
The last day for collections will be December 22nd, so please drop off your gift before the deadline!
