At Home Instead, we love getting the chance to speak directly to the next generation of caregivers. Giving students a kickstart into their healthcare careers is one of the many ways we support our aging community. That's why we were so thrilled to share our passion and expertise with the students at the Pasadena City College ESL class, demonstrating how we are able to offer the best home care in Pasadena, CA.
Our Owner, Greg Sanchez, Jr., Ph.D., spoke to the class about the nature of aging and how each student can make an impact on the older adults in their community. During the talk, Greg touched on the value of strong communication skills in caregiving, the benefits of connecting with an older adult, and how they can start their home care career with Home Instead. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with future professionals and encourage them to see caregiving as a possible profession.
