The holiday season, often called "the most wonderful time of the year," can feel overwhelming and painful when you are working through heartache from a death, a job loss, a divorce, or a health decline. These feelings don't take a break in December, so Home Instead is supporting seniors and families in our community by spotlighting a helpful presentation to offer support during this challenging time.
The Managing Holiday Grief presentation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th, from 12pm to 1:30pm at the Palm Desert Library, 73300 Fred Waring Drive. This session focuses on learning to "make room for grief" and manage the demands of the holidays. The program will be led by Harold Ivan Smith, D.Min., a Fellow in Thanatology and author of A Decembered Grief.
