Symphony Krueger, Owner
Meet Symphony Krueger, the dedicated owner of Home Instead in La Mesa. With a passion for helping others and a background in early childhood education spanning over 16 years, Symphony brings a wealth of experience and compassion to the senior care industry.
Symphony's journey with Home Instead began in 2010 when she joined the team in Sacramento. From the start, she was driven by a deep-seated desire to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life. Transitioning from nurturing young minds to caring for seniors, Symphony found her calling in ensuring that individuals of all ages receive the respect, kindness, and support they deserve.
Throughout her tenure at Home Instead, Symphony has risen through the ranks, honing her skills in caregiver recruitment, training, coaching, and leadership. Her commitment to assembling top-notch care teams stems from her belief that every client deserves the highest standard of care to maintain independence, safety in their own homes and being a resource to navigate the aging journey.
Now at the helm of the La Mesa office since February 2024, Symphony remains steadfast in her promise to uphold dignity, respect, and excellence in care delivery. She envisions Home Instead as more than just a service provider but as a cornerstone of support for employees and families alike. Alex Reese, Business Development Liaison
Alex Reese is a Business Development Liaison with Home Instead, a leading provider of personalized, non-medical in-home care for older adults. Since joining the team in April 2025, Alex has been dedicated to building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community partners, and families to ensure older adults can live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes. With a focus on trust, compassion, and collaboration, Alex works to connect clients with the right care solutions, whether that means companionship, assistance with daily living, or specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia support. Known for his approachable style and commitment to service, Alex strives to be a resource and trusted partner for both clients and colleagues in the senior care community.
Chad Tewanger, Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator
Starting in July 2025, Chad proudly joined Home Instead as a Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator, playing an essential role in attracting, hiring, and supporting dedicated care professionals who deliver compassionate, high-quality service to clients. In this position, he is responsible for managing the full caregiver recruitment process, fostering strong relationships with new and existing Care Pros, and ensuring they feel valued, supported, and set up for success.
With a deep commitment to excellence in senior care, Chad focuses on creating a positive and engaging experience from the first point of contact through long-term employment. He works closely with care teams, clients, and families to understand unique care needs—ensuring that Home Instead continues to provide extraordinary service through well-matched, well-supported caregivers. He is honored to contribute to Home Instead’s mission of enhancing every life possible by building a reliable, compassionate, and empowered caregiving workforce.
Jessica Raiford, Service Coordinator
Jessica started with Home Instead as a Care Pro in May 2022. In just three months, she became a Lead Care Pro—training and mentoring newly hired and first-time caregivers to provide extraordinary care for our clients. In November 2022, Jessica was promoted to Service Coordinator, becoming a critical member of our administrative team. She now has the pleasure of matching the right Care Pro with the right client, managing schedules, and supporting the overall delivery of personalized in-home care services that meet each client’s individual needs.
Jennifer Griffith, On-Call Supervisor
Jennifer began a career with Home Instead in 2016 providing in-home care to older adults living with Alzheimer's and other dementias. Working one-on-one with clients and fostering supportive relationships with them proved to be both meaningful and essential. Those experiences continue to inform the work she does today in home care administration for Home Instead. Over the years, Jennifer has served in multiple capacities for Home Instead, including her roles as Interim Recruitment Coordinator and Staffing Coordinator. Her experience and dedication keep her well-attuned to the complex and evolving needs of older adults and their families. Her commitment to outstanding home care continues in her current role as On-Call Supervisor, managing urgent client and Care Pro needs after hours.
