The District 2 Picnic & Chili Cook-Off is back! This yearly tradition is a day filled with great food, fun, and community building. At Home Instead, we spotlight local events like this to support seniors and families in staying engaged as we strive to provide the best home care in Inglewood, CA.
On Saturday, August 16th from 4pm to 7pm, Councilman Alex Padilla invites the community to North Park, 625 Hargrave St, Inglewood, for a free event with live music, games, plenty of food, a variety of chili to taste, raffle prizes, and a Movies in the Park screening of Despicable Me 4, starting at dusk.
This event is a perfect way to soak in the summer by sampling award-worthy chili, enjoying music, and catching up with friends. We encourage seniors to join in and make some warm memories.
