Staying connected in today's world means mastering new technology, which can feel like trying to learn a new language! That’s why Home Instead is excited to spotlight a two-part event focused on helping seniors bridge the digital divide.
The Learn Basic Tech sessions are designed to help you conquer technology and gain confidence using computers, apps, smartphones, the internet, and essential security skills. This is a great resource for adults who want to learn how to use tech to video chat with family or safely search the web. Sessions will be at the Hawthorne Library (12700 Grevillea Ave) on Wednesday, December 3rd, and Thursday, December 4th, from 12:30pm to 4:30pm.
Many older adults don't have the skills to access information and stay in touch with people they love, which is why we spotlight events like this. At Home Instead, we focus on supporting the whole person with home care in Hawthorne, CA, and technology is a big part of that! We highly encourage anyone looking to expand their digital comfort zone to join these free, helpful classes.
