At Home Instead, our team is always looking for ways to support seniors, and one way we do that is by spotlighting events that are made just for them. If you love great food and even better company, we have found the perfect evening out.
On Thursday, May 28th, the City of Gardena is hosting a World Cup Candlelight Dinner at the Nakaoka Community Center, 1670 W 162nd St. Adults aged 60 and older are invited to show their team spirit by dressing up to support their favorite sports team or country for a chance to win a prize. Check-in begins at 4:30pm, and dinner will be served at 5:15pm
Dinner Will Include:
- Chicken Stuffed with Broccoli Florentine
- Pasta
- Potatoes Au Gratin
- Spinach Salad
- Squash
- And a Slice of Cake
While the event is geared toward seniors, guests under the age of 60 are welcome to join when accompanied by a senior for a $7 fee at check-in. Register by calling 310-217-9552, emailing [email protected], or visiting their Event Calendar.
