Home Instead is seeking caring, compassionate, and exceptional Care Professionals to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults. At Home Instead, we provide a range of Non-Medical Services that empower our clients to remain in their homes while meeting the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Person-centered care: Individualized care, respect and dignity, and holistic focus
Personal Care: Activities of daily living, hygiene, toileting, and incontinence care assistance
Meal Preparation: Grocery shopping, planning nutritious meals, cooking, and preparing meals
Light Housekeeping Task: Cleaning, dusting, organizing, laundry, safety checks
Companionship: Providing emotional and social support
Transportation Services: Safe and reliable transportation to medical appointments, errands and shopping
Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support: Understanding the stages of the disease process, focusing on person-centered care, preventing and easing behaviors
End-Of- Life Support: Focusing on the dignity and quality of life for our clients, emotional and spiritual support for both client and family
Enhanced Care Services: Medication reminders, mechanical lift responsibilities, transfer assistance, managing chronic conditions with coordination alongside of healthcare professionals
Requirements to be a Care Professional:
Ability to deliver exceptional care for our clients and their property, maintaining the highest standards of dignity and respect
Complete a criminal background check, 39-Month Driving Record Check, and Drug Screen
Obtain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Possess a Valid Driver’s License and Valid Auto Insurance
Required to have a reliable personal vehicle in good working order, with fully operational air conditioning
Demonstrates ability to engage with clients in a manner that is both friendly and professional.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English to ensure accurate documentation and effective communication
Must be able to lift and safely carry at least 50 pounds
Must utilize their mobile device to record time entries, document, and read care plans
Are at least 21 years of age
Have a high school diploma or a GED
