At Home Instead, we know our Chandler seniors are some of the sharpest around, so we're spotlighting the second annual Inter-City Puzzle Tournament so you can join in and represent our community! Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, and Scottsdale are going head-to-head to see who has the fastest puzzlers. Do you have the focus and speed to bring the crown home to Chandler?
How to Play:
To keep things fair, the tournament has a few rules to ensure a level playing field for all cities:
- Form a team of two. Participants must be at least 12 years old, and there must be at least one adult on the team.
- Every team receives the same 500-piece puzzle.
No outside sorting tools or gadgets are allowed. - You have 90 minutes to finish. The first team to complete their puzzle wins!
- If no one finishes, the winner is determined by who has the fewest pieces left.
The first round for our neck of the woods kicks off at the Sunset Library, 4930 W Ray Road, on January 22nd. Registration is required, and slots fill up fast! Be sure to register online at the Inter-City Puzzle Tournament Event Page to secure your place in the race. The top team from each branch advances to the final round at the Mesa Main Library on Saturday, February 7th, to compete for the championship.
