Creative activities like crafting can provide a relaxing outlet for self-expression for older adults. At Home Instead, we are always on the lookout for local events that can help seniors stay active and engaged in our community. That’s why we’re excited to spotlight an event happening here in Sahuarita, AZ.
The Sahuarita Library is hosting a weekly crafting event called Crafting, Coloring, Cookies, and Conversation on Fridays throughout June. These sessions will be held at the Sahuarita Library, 670 Sahuarita Rd W, Sahuarita, AZ 85629. Seniors and adults are welcome to bring their own projects, whether it's knitting, crocheting, origami, or drawing. Supplies, like coloring sheets, pens, pencils, and origami paper, will be provided. Cookies will also be available for participants to enjoy while chatting with fellow crafters.
