In my eyes there are two customers, you the CAREGiver® and the seniors we care for, our Clients. Taking care of seniors has been a passion of ours for many years. I am extremely humble to part of the Hone Instead Senior Care family. I have lived in Florida since, 1999 when I moved from Pennsylvania. In 2000 I met the man of my dreams, Mario on a soccer field. We were married in 2001 and have 2 wonderful daughters Mary & Amelia.

I have worked in the Senior Living Industry since I moved to Florida and have always had a passion for seniors and ensuring that they had the right help as they needed it along their life journey! In 2012 I had the pleasure of making a sales call to Home Instead Senior Care office here in Lakeland which is where I meet Temi and John for the first time. Shortly after that date I had the honor of working for them for almost 2 years. I did step away from Home Instead for a few years, but I always wore a purple heart on my wrist that I got when I left.

An unexpected drop in visit to the office brought me back to Home Instead Senior Care, Lakeland I look forward to building on the legacy that John and Temi have built and making the Lakeland Home Instead Senior Care office even stronger and more successful! They have brought the passion and drive to change the face of aging in Lakeland, Florida. Now is our opportunity to take it to the next level, to make a difference in lives of seniors

Beverly Holbrook ~ Registered Nurse

Beverly Holbrook ~ Registered Nurse

I was born in Lakeland, Florida and graduated from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing in 1972 as a Registered Nurse.  I have been married for 46 years, we have 2 children and 6 granddaughters, and yes I am a "Dance Grandma".  My nursing career began in the OB department of Winter Haven Hospital and then in 1975 was given the opportunity to work with the first Medical Oncologist in Polk County for 15 years.  I then went in to the field of education teaching nursing and other medical careers and retired in 2012.  Well that lasted for a few years then found myself with Home Instead Senior Care in December of 2014.  Here I am part of the Quality Assurance Department assisting with training of the new and current CAREGivers.  I am sure if you would ask the CAREGivers what they thought of my training they would say, "Ms. Beverly has a very exciting approach to training, she keeps the classe participants on their toes,  and memorable. Ms. Beverly shares of wealth of knowledge from her personal and professional experiences."    When not training I can be found relaxing in the mountains of North Georgia.

Jackie Luna ~ Zayas

Jackie Luna ~ Zayas

I was born in Kingston, Jamaica. I am the mother of 3 wonderful kids ages 24, 16 & 6. Back in school I did Business and Secretarial as my area of studies. After moving from New York to Lakeland FL in 2006 I worked for MCI now Verizon but also ventured into Health Care. I obtained my Certified Nursing Assistant license in April 2007 and have been in Health Care ever since then. I am also Core Certified, which I have had the opportunity in working in Assisted Living Facilities and more so Memory Care.

In 2006 I was drawn to Home Instead Senior Care after seeing one of their caregivers in action and how passionate she was about her client and her job, the purple shirt stood out also. After talking to the caregiver I immediately applied and was accepted. I stepped away for a few month after the birth of my son, them came back few months later and have been here ever since.

In June of 2018 I transition in the office to join the team of Key Players in the Human Resource Dept. When not in the office or On Call, I am spending time with my family and going to church.

I was born in Pennsylvania right outside of Philadelphia
(Wonder if she prefers Gyno's or Pat's cheese steaks?). I moved to Florida in 1995 when I was blessed to meet my husband not to long after and has been married for 20+ years.I have two amazing children, a son starting college and a daughter in high school. As a family we try to live beyond words, to us that means, adventure, traveling, helping others while supporting our faith, family and community. Home Instead Senior Care has become another avenue for me live by our family motto.

Teresa Conboy

Teresa Conboy

Hello I  am Teresa Conboy: I oversee the Quality Assuance Team.  I look forward to getting to know all our clients so here is a little about me!

My Mom was a nurse who worked in a nursing home. At the age of 16 she got me working. I worked in a nursing home until I was 23. I was born and raised in upstate New York and went to Monroe Community college. I received a Degree as a Medical Secretary. I worked for a short period of time at Binghamton General Hospital and was then fortunate to be able to stay home and raise my children. Through those years I was a Pastor’s wife, managed rental property, started a camper rental, owned a Salon, had foreign exchange students in my home, worked at Lockheed Martin and enjoyed traveling through the States and overseas.

Later in my life I was looking for a job and I remembered back in the day how I enjoyed working with the elderly and caring for them. I then received my CNA license and worked in long term care for several months here in Florida. After time, I decided I may be a bit more on the elderly side too and the LTC was a bit much so I came to Home Instead Senior Care for some one on one care. It was perfect between the hours and the sweet clients I had. I have been with Home Instead now 4 ½ years.

My children are my pride and joy and my grandchildren are my everything. I enjoy bike riding, tennis, racquetball, garage sales, beaching, and more. My grand boys know how to get most anything from Grammy.

I'm a southern gal from Charleston, SC who has been all over the world. I have a husband that I have been with for 12 years and an elementary school daughter who is the princess of the universe. My little family is my world. Almost four years ago I was looking for a great company to work for to fit my life and my schedule and in Home Instead Senior Care, Lakeland I found exactly what I wanted. With my degree in Business and management experience, working in the HR department was the perfect fit for me.

Angela Polk

Angela Polk
Hi! My name is Angela, I have 5 children and have been married for 26 years. I have lived in Florida my entire life, so far!

Ever since I was very young, I have enjoyed being around the elder generation. As a child I would rather visit the widow down the street then play with my friends. I enjoy the wisdom of the elder generation and the stories of years past.

I have worked with the elderly in Assisted Livings prior to coming to Home Instead Senior Care 3 1/2 years ago. I joined the Home Instead team because of the flexibility with my schedule and seeing how genuine they are about taking care of the elder generation. I am thankful to be part of the team that ensures Quality of Care for our clients.
