That's why our team stands ready to serve you any day of the week, at any hour of the day or night. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "The purpose of life is not to be happy.  It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well."  Emerson's quote describes our owner Carolyn, her heart and the way she casts vision for this franchise.  In order to ensure that quality care is the norm for each of our clients, she leads us to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families in her home county.

When Carolyn isn't spear heading the Be a Santa to a Senior Program handing out gifts to local seniors, you can find her at the fair.  Well, at least sitting on the Citrus County Fair Board and volunteering in a myriad of other capacities in our community.  About that fair thing, she did place in the 1983 National Dairy Judging Competition!  Wanna know what she won?  Just ask, it's really good.  When not volunteering, Carolyn and her husband Rick are busily and lovingly guiding three very active daughters through their teen and young adult years.​

Vickie Williams, Branch Director since 2009

Vickie's daily role of directing and maintaining office procedures and personnel is vital for this franchise team to stay focused on providing exceptional care to our clients and their families.  Her day is made when she hears directly from a client that we have assisted and supported them in some way that was a problem or causing them stress.  For Vickie, this work is truly personal as she cares for her daughter who had a stroke in 2001.  Her perspective on providing care is compassionate and well-informed.

For over 11 years, Vickie and her husband Jim were full- time RV'ers zig zagging the USA.  We sometimes wonder how she stays within these four walls!  After they settled, they now choose to spend their free time with family, being the proud grandparents of two young men – one who plays the trumpet for the Nature Coast Community Band.  So look for her beaming face at those concerts and at many HS football games!​

Claudette Lansberry, Service Manager since 2007

​In order to care for clients, you gotta know what they really need!  Claudette joined HISC as an HHA out in the field caring for our clients.  She understands what it means to care for someone in their home with compassion.  Her experience makes her a natural fit to guide our clients through the aging process.  She really enjoys interacting with the CAREGivers, their clients and families.  Helping all parties work well together for the good of the client is her goal.

When Claudette isn't reminiscing about PA Amish living (she's from there – but not Amish), she would rather be relaxing at a beach or traveling to the mountains in North Carolina, Tennessee or Georgia.   She loves her three daughters, but absolutely adores her five grandchildren.  Her stories about their shenanigans and their office visits have us in stitches.  When you have a moment, ask Claudette if Scrapple is her favorite breakfast food!​

Cheryl likes crunching – number crunching, that is.  When it comes to keeping our franchise's finances in tip top shape, Cheryl is on the ball!  Her day is filled with helping clients maneuver through the many layers of long term claims, ensuring their concerns are heard and issues addressed.  Cheryl loves working on a team that is just like family helping clients resolve issues with as little stress as possible. 

It's no surprise that Cheryl enjoys keeping things in order, her family was military.  Even though she didn't start her life here in FL she became the biggest Florida Gator fan EVER!  When she isn't cheering her Gators on, you can find her spending time with her three children, family and friends or just chilling inside snuggling up to watch a good movie.  When you catch her in a quiet moment, ask her what her greatest challenge is….it will surprise you.  ​

Michelle Bryant, Service Coordinator since 2012

​Michelle started with Home Instead in 2012 as a CAREGiver, providing quality care for many of our clients.  In fact, she was once Caregiver of the Year for our franchise!  Because of her skills in HHA care, she is a perfect fit to connect our clients with a CAREGiver who will be able to meet their needs.  It's her favorite part of her job.  Sort of like solving a daily puzzle, which luckily is one of her favorite activities!

When Michelle isn't managing the scheduling of our 100+ CAREGivers, you can either find her playing pool, fishing or spending time with her five children and nine grandchildren!  If Michelle had her way, her office would face the beach and she would end the day watching the sunset and saying her favorite phrase, "It's all good!"​

Tammie Fearon, Service Coordinator Since 2017

Tammie comes to us with a rich set of life and work experiences that makes her a great asset to our team.  She is helpful in creating good caregiver matches for our clients.  Tammie enjoys the team environment in our office and knows that we strive to use our strengths to get the job done. 

When Tammie isn't scheduling, you could probably find her with her son or daughter living a quiet country life, crafting and gardening.  Her love of simple things is probably why her favorite quote is from Mark Twain – "If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything!"  Next time you see Tammie ask her about the pig that isn't her pet, but is now the office mascot!  

Kristen Haeseker, Human Resources Manager since 2015

​Kristen has been around teaching and training forever!  She came out of the HHA field to train others to take care of our clients.  Kristen's favorite part of the job is launching the new CAREGivers into the field with her motto, "Hurt Never, Help Ever". 

Kristen enjoys the arts and loves to sculpt, throw pottery and watch BBC mysteries!  Even though she may not make her goal before she dies, Kristen would love to set her feet on every continent!  Next time you see her, ask her how many she has visited!  When she isn't doing background screenings and reference checks, you can find Kristen in her yard tending to "Charlie Brown-esque" citrus trees, creating music with her husband or chilling with their three cats.

Jacqueline Goodbred, Administrative Assistant since 2016

​Jackie is a bubbly addition to our team.  Like her ancestors from Casenove, France she enjoys a nice afternoon cappuccino while cheerfully greeting clients on the phone.  She enjoys making people's lives a little easier by being a team player.

Jackie is part of a special group for being one of the few people who can boast of having the rare "Five Generations" photo that includes her sweet son.  When not smiling at our visitors, you can find her with her husband and son swimming, visiting family in Orlando or just hanging out with their three huge dogs!
