Morgan is originally from Southwest Iowa but moved to Cedar Falls to attend school at the University of Northern Iowa. She graduated from UNI in 2012, majoring in History and Anthropology. Morgan used her degree to study oral history of the elderly in the community, while working with the historical society and museums. Morgan is drawn to the demographics of the elderly and thinks that they are worth studying their long-lived lives.
After Morgan graduated she took time off and went abroad for 9 months and traveled all over the world. Other hobbies that are important to Morgan are: swimming, canoeing, hiking, reading and small projects such as painting.
Morgan's first job was working in a nursing home for 7 years when she lived in SW Iowa. She missed her time as a CAREGiver which lead her to apply with a recommendation at Home Instead Senior Care. Morgan served as a CAREGiver 8 month and started in August 2018 as our Client Care Coordinator.
