That's why our team stands ready to serve you any day of the week, at any hour of the day or night. Home Instead Senior Care has been serving the greater Fayetteville area since 2006.  Bob and Kathryn McCarthy became the new owners in December 2015, purchasing the business from its original owners.

Together, Bob and Kathryn (aka Bobkat) bring a strong set of complimentary skills and experience to Home Instead Senior Care. Bob is well versed in business, having been a Vice President for two Fortune 500 companies and Kathryn has been a licensed physical therapist for over 20 years. Both of them are active in the business – don't be surprised if one of them answers your phone call or is manning the front desk when you visit the office!

Bob and Kathryn are the proud parents of two girls who are both now in college. In his spare time Bob likes to fly airplanes, while Kathryn enjoys reading and traveling to visit friends and family.

Together Bob and Kathryn are committed to making sure Home Instead Senior Care continues to be a trusted community partner, providing the excellent level of care that our community's seniors and their families expect and deserve.

Company Mascot

Elvis is in charge of comedic relief and keeping a smile on everyone's face! He can often be found wandering the office looking for attention and any food scraps that found their way to the floor.

Fun facts about Elvis: He is a talented little fellow who knows many tricks! He can stand, spin, and rings a bell when he needs to go outside.


Joann

Joann

Operations Manager

Joann makes sure our team runs like a well-oiled machine. Joann manages our Human Resources and scheduling departments, as well as our front desk and after hours support.

Fun facts about Joann: Joann loves spending time outdoors. She enjoys fishing, and she has even won various awards in marksmanship!


Shelley

Shelley

​Client Care Manager, R.N.

As our on-staff nurse, Shelley oversees client care, completes client assessments, and creates a Plan of Care that best fits each client. She also monitors client progress and oversees all client care issues. Shelley enjoys talking with and visiting clients in order to help them successfully live in their homes.

Fun facts about Shelley: She and her husband lived in Germany for 3 years while he served in the military. During their time there, they traveled to various countries in Europe. 

Roseann

Roseann

CAREGiver Training/Administration, R.N.

Roseann is our morning director of first impressions! If you stop by our office in the morning, Roseann will likely be the first person you meet. She makes sure that we are taking good care of our visitors and address all incoming phone calls. She also helps train many of our new CAREGivers and equips them with the knowledge they need to do successfully serve our clients.

Fun facts about Roseann: Roseann is an avid couponer and is passionate about spending time with her family.


Corrie

Corrie

​Client Care Coordinator

Corrie's job is to ensure that our CAREGivers have the tools they need to do their jobs effectively, and that our clients receive the best care possible. Her favorite part about her job is talking with our clients in their homes because it serves as a reminder about the positive impact our company has on the lives of others.

Fun facts about Corrie: Corrie grew up on an island in Florida and her parents live on a sailboat.


Linda

Linda

Client Care Coordinator

Linda is also responsible for ensuring her client’s satisfaction and quality of care. Linda oversees clients with last names that start with A-J, and Beth oversees clients with last names that start with K-Z. Linda’s favorite part of being a Client Care Coordinator is getting to know our clients better and building relationships with them.

Fun facts about Linda: Linda's husband nicknamed her "The Mayor," and she used to be painfully shy when she was in grade school!

Katie

Katie

Marketing Director

Katie works in the community to raise awareness of resources available to seniors. She also speaks with families interested in in-home care for a love one and shares about Home Instead's services. Katie enjoys engaging with families and the community to learn how she can best serve seniors in the area.  

Fun Facts about Katie: Her favorite weekend activity is hiking with her husband and their dog. She also enjoys exercise and experimenting in the kitchen making healthy meals/snacks.  



Kira

Kira

Marketing Specialist

Kira speaks with prospective clients about services and creates marketing materials for use throughout the company. Most of all, Kira enjoys connecting with families in need of services so that they do not feel alone in the process of caring for the senior in their life.

Fun facts about Kira: She is a competitive equestrian who teaches clinics all around the country. Unbeknownst to many, she also has a talent for walking on stilts.​

Susan

Susan

Community Relations

Susan maintains our relationships with the broader Fayetteville community. She is one of the original owners of Home Instead Fayetteville, and after selling the business has continued to serve the business and the community on a part time basis.


Nancy

Nancy

Administration

Nancy's job requires her to use her multi-tasking skills frequently. She manages all incoming calls to the office, welcomes and directs visitors, maintains the state of the office, and assists with billing tasks as needed. She loves meeting new people and making them feel welcome in our office.

Fun facts about Nancy: She has been inducted into the Blood Donor Hall of Fame, she used to be a belly dancer, and she enjoys riding motorcycles. But most of all, Nancy loves spending time with her 8 grandchildren.


Dawn

Dawn

Receptionist/Scheduling Coordinator

Dawn divids her time between managing first impressions at the front desk and assisting in our scheduling department. She loves meeting new people and welcoming them to the office. 

Fun facts about Dawn: She graduated from North Pole High School in Alaska. She enjoys baking and sharing her creations with family and friends. Most of all, she loves spending time with her two fun-loving kids and grandkids. 


Sharon

Sharon

Lead CAREGiver/Administration

As lead CAREGiver, Sharon helps serve our clients when we need last-minute caregiving during the week. We can always rely on her! She also helps train CAREGivers for clients who might need extra, individualized attention.

Fun facts about Sharon: Sharon is an avid bike rider, and she enjoys traveling with her husband. She is also the proud grandma of 6 grandkids!


Jessica

Jessica

HR Supervisor

Jessica works in our human resources department to ensure that we are hiring and training the best possible caregivers, and matching them up with the right clients. Her favorite part about her job is hearing the stories which make our CAREGivers so passionate about serving the elderly!

Fun facts about Jessica: She served with the 82nd Airborne Division and had one deployment to Iraq. She has also worked as a police officer and Special Victims Detective; in fact, she is still currently a reserve officer!


Kennadette

Kennadette

HR Supervisor

Kennadette works in our human resources department, hiring and training amazing caregivers. She loves being a part of the professional development of others and feels it's a joy to help CAREGivers learn different approaches to balancing work and life.

Fun facts about Kennadette: She is a big fan of the show Grey's Anatomy, and she used to own a horse named Kool Aid!


Jen

Jen

HR Supervisor

Jen works in human resources recruiting and interviewing CAREGivers. She also provides enrichment training to current CAREGivers to promote continuing education and personal growth. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with clients, CAREGivers, and potential hires!

Fun facts about Jen: Jen has been to 19 different countries, and the only continent she has not been on is Antarctica.

Scheduling Coordinator

Leona helps find the best CAREGiver fit for each client. She loves talking to the clients because it reminds her that she is helping make a positive difference in their lives. She also enjoys providing a listening ear when a client or CAREGiver needs someone to talk to.

Fun facts about Leona: In her free time, Leona likes to go deer hunting. She even has a coon dog named Duke!

Alison helps the scheduling team fill client shifts and utilize each CAREGiver to their best potential. She loves hearing positive feedback from client families when they feel that their assigned CAREGiver is a great match.

Fun facts about Alison: She enjoys weightlifting in her spare time and is in school to become a nurse! She also has extensive experience as a caregiver.

Scheduling Coordinator

Patrice loves working in scheduling because of the opportunity to match clients with the perfect CAREGiver.

Fun facts about Patrice: She loves shopping, traveling and decorating, and she enjoys doing fun things with her children.


Joyce

Joyce

Accounting Manager

Joyce handles all of the invoicing, billing, and payroll for the company. Her favorite aspect of the job is knowing that she is helping our clients by ensuring that business runs smoothly.

Fun facts about Joyce: She used to do all the cooking in her household, but Joyce has since trained and promoted her husband to Head Chef. She has also been white water rafting!​
