Erica joined Home Instead Senior Care in Colorado Springs in 2009 and has been with the Castle Rock franchise since 2014. Erica’s husband of 15 years was with the Navy and they have traveled all across the United States living in beautiful San Diego, Hawaii, and Washington State before deciding to reside in Colorado. While living in Hawaii, Erica graduated from dental school and began working for a dental hygienist only to realize it didn’t fulfill her professionally. Encouraged by her mother to pursue caregiving, Erica began helping seniors. That experience continues to help her empathize with the challenges CareGivers face. After working as a CareGiver, Erica was offered office opportunities and worked in several different settings. Knowledge and years of experience help her enjoy her current position as a scheduler.
Erica volunteers for numerous programs including The Children’s Literacy Summer Program, Castle Rock Library and Homes for our Troops. She continues to love spending time with the Elderly. Erica embraces life to the fullest and loves spending time hiking and snowboarding! Her curious nature invokes her passion to take pictures. Her ability to be quick and efficient (like in scheduling) allows her to capture fleeting moments of the playfulness of her two chocolate labs and the beauty of Colorado.
Rosie started working for Home Instead in the Spring of 2017 and brought with her a couple years of caregiving experience. During her time as a CAREGiver with HISC, Rose showed an interest and a knack for scheduling and would assist the office when there was a need. Soon after, she became a permanent staff member in the scheduling capacity. Rose was born on the east coast, grew up in California and has called Colorado home for the past 3 years. Rose holds a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies from Cal Baptist University. In her spare time, she likes to cook, exercise and read. She feels the elderly are the jewels of our society and is honored to be serving them.
Affectionately called the "plant whisperer" by the Office Staff, Cynthia tends to the live office plants like she cultivates the care for the seniors in their golden years and the friendships she cultivates with the Professional CAREGivers. Her philosophy is unless we have our eyes and ears open to what is calling out for water or help, we might miss the opportunity to open our hearts for the chance to walk beside indidvudals on their journey through life.
Cynthia earned her B.S. in Healthcare Administration and her Associate Degree in Nursing. She began her tenure at Home Instead Senior Care as a Professional CAREGiver after she retired from her career as a Nutrition Specialist. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her 4 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, yoga, watercolor painting, and has a fresh water tropical fish tank!
Kanoi started with HISC as a
CAREGiver in 2011 with a steady client for about 2 years. Kanio was then offered the On-Call Support position to provide help to both our clients and CAREGivers during off hours. She enjoys this position as it still allows her to utilize her knowledge
of the healthcare field as well as an understanding of what Caregivers
experience while working in the field. Kanoi’s
grandmother began living with her family and grew Kanoi’s soft heart for
seniors. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her
3 boys and husband.
"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
