Job Details

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance, must be able to drive
  • Successfully complete the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Aid Registry requirements, DMV check and drug screen

Job Description:
The Human Resources Manager performs a variety of duties that relate to human resources including, but not limited to, Human Resource department operational efficiency, Caregiver and Key Player recruitment and retention, employee compensation & benefits program, and employee performance and engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

•         Reflect the core values of Prescott Sanchez Inc. d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise.

•         Develop and manage the annual franchise Human Resources operational plan. 

•         Achieve the annual organization operational plan’s revenues, gross profit, profitability and other operational goals by the stated milestones. 

•         Provide leadership and management of the HR Department; focusing on operational efficiency, Caregiver recruitment and retention, employee disciplinary action, employee compensation & benefits program, employee performance and engagement.

•         Manage outcomes of HR department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals.

•         Identify, develop, implement and manage employee policies and handbook updates.

•         Manage 3rd Party benefits brokers to ensure employee eligibility requirements are maintained.

•         Complete a regularly scheduled audit of HR processes to ensure compliance with all governing bodies; including Home Instead Senior Care® Standards and any state-specific requirements. 

•         Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, direct reports, colleagues, Caregivers, clients and family members.

•         Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented and communicated to all employees.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a college degree or equivalent work experience with 5-10 years of experience in human resource management. Must be certified through an accredited human resource management organization.  Must have the ability to present a professional appearance and demeanour. Must be patient and congenial. Must have computer skills and be proficient in proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be fluent in English, able to communicate information efficiently, possess good work ethic, multi-task, able to follow through and complete assigned tasks. Job responsibilities include a variety of duties which include: Client and Caregiver scheduling, monitoring client and Caregiver activity to ensure exceptional service, answering phones, follow up on client and Caregiver issues, recognizing opportunities to increase service hours, and administrative duties such as assistance with Caregiver on-boarding, and supporting other staff members with tasks as necessary to provide the highest quality service to clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Available to work on the weekdays and one weekend (HOURS MAY VARY). Also, Open to work for On-Call one weekend and two weekdays
  • Reflect the core values of (Prescott Sanchez, Inc.), (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Create and maintain client and Caregiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high-quality matches and the development of extraordinary relationships
  • Monitor, mediate and log all client and Caregiver activity utilizing the software system
  • Follow up with all client and Caregiver issues to ensure their problems are resolved
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and Caregiver records in the software system
  • Increase client loyalty to Home Instead Senior Care by utilizing the consultative sales process to better meet our current client needs
  • Follow up and communicate Caregiver and client issues to ensure problems are resolved
  • Design, test and implement a responsive contingency plan that ensures 100% maintenance of Service Hours
  • Perform On-Call and Weekend Supervisor responsibilities as required by the business needs
  • Recognize and capture opportunities to increase service hours in scenarios to enhance and/or increase quality care
  • Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner, enter the information into the software system and work with the team to communicate and prepare for the Care Consultation
  • Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations following the consultative sales process.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, Caregivers, clients and family members

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the senior care industry. Applicant should be flexible and be available to work evenings and weekend as the on-call supervisor based on business needs.
