Lisa and Ed Ganem opened their Home Instead Senior Care offices of
Seacoast and Southern New Hampshire in 2002 after experiences in their
personal life lead them to understand the many challenges that families
face. Lisa's aging grandparents and the loss of family members,
including the death of her father at an early age, prompted her to leave
her career in finance. During this same time, they took in Ed's mother
during her last years of life, as she alternated visits with Ed's
siblings, to ensure she could remain at home and enjoy her children and
grandchildren. Soon after these experiences, they realized their goal
was to offer other families support by giving them the choice to allow
their loved ones to age at home, wherever they may reside, with dignity
As a powerful, cohesive team, Lisa and Ed oversee day-to day
operations, company standards and the overall management of their Home
Instead Senior Care franchises. Their business acumen paired with their
desire to promote a better quality of life for seniors allows them to
successfully demonstrate their passion for serving the community. Ed
works to ensure a personal level of service as he gets to know each new
client and most often goes above and beyond the call of duty as he looks
after the well-being of every client. While, Lisa works to get involved
in the community as she serves on the Board of Service Link since 2005
and the Board of FOSI (Friends of Service Link), as Treasurer. Lisa
graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor's
of Science in Finance. Ed graduated from University of Massachusetts
Boston with a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice.
Prior to Home Instead Senior Care, Lisa worked for many years as CFO
for Harvard Translation, Boston Mass., followed by managing a 22 person
financial consulting team for Managed Ops, Bedford, NH. She ended her
corporate career as General Manager of North America for Exact Software
based in Holland. During this same time, Ed worked in many
capacities--spending most of his time forming a medical device
manufacturing company with his brother but made a career change to
join Lisa in her commitment to Home Instead Senior Care.
Casey is Service Manager for Home Instead Senior Care of Seacoast & Southern NH, joining the organization in August 2015.
Prior to Home Instead Senior Care, Casey worked as an Outreach Specialist at the Seacoast Mental Health Center, following a year-long internship with the Cheshire County Behavioral Health and Drug Court in Keene, NH. Casey successfully fosters one-on-one relationships with our clients and CAREGivers, ensuring that each day runs effectively and smoothly.
She has three Bachelor’s degrees from Keene State College, Keene, NH in Psychology, Sociology and Criminal Justice Studies. Casey has spent her whole life in New Hampshire, and when she isn’t working she enjoys drawing and spending time with friends and family.
Jamie Thurston joined Home Instead Senior Care in March 2015. She is Chief Development Officer for the Seacoast & Southern NH region.
She comes to Home Instead Senior Care with over 8 years of experience in sales and marketing within the senior care services industry, having spent most of her time working for skilled and long-term care facilities. She also worked as a recruiter for healthcare professionals and is certified in medical billing. She initially became involved in senior care in her teenage years as she helped care for her grandmother who had Parkinson's disease. Jamie has a great respect for Veterans. From an early age, she has been influenced by military issues as her father spent his career in the Army, moving her family many places stateside and internationally.
She is an active member of the Lions Club of Hudson, NH and the Breakfast Exchange Club of Nashua, NH. Jamie participates in several hospital committees to advocate for seniors. You can hear her voice on several morning Nashua-based radio stations as she is a frequent guest speaker to discuss current and local senior issues. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.
Quinci joined Home Instead Senior Care in October 2017 as a Service Coordinator.
Prior to joining the team, Quinci worked as Assistant Manager at New England Telemedicine and coordinated schedules for patients in rural areas to see specialty doctors in their own community.
At a young age, Quinci started taking care of her disabled veteran father. She understands the challenges families face as loved ones age, which is why she is passionate about building positive, supportive relationships between clients, CAREGivers and their families.
Quinci has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Granite State College, Rochester NH. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NH.
Quinci was born and raised in New Hampshire. When she isn’t working, Quinci loves to spend time with her family and her puppy, Lucy.
Meredith joined Home Instead Senior Care offices of the Seacoast and Southern New Hampshire in October 2020, as Client Care Manager, bringing together a diverse career in both nursing and business. Prior to joining Home Instead, Meredith worked at Catholic Medical Center as a RN on an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit for 10 years, both on the floor as well as in the office, screening patient referrals, determining level of appropriate care against Medicare criteria.
Previous to CMC, she worked at Fidelity Investments for 9 years in a variety of upward moving roles, leaving as a Product Manager of Talent Management Software. While at Fidelity, Meredith was also working nights and weekends doing homecare for companies, including a Home Instead Senior Care franchise, and pursing a nursing degree. Meredith understands the unique needs of seniors and their families care plans. She recognizes and appreciates the individuality of each client and meeting their needs.
Meredith earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from University of Southern Maine. She lives on the seacoast with her husband, Zach, and their three children enjoying the seacoast and all it and the community have to offer.
Trish Bourque joined Home Instead Senior Care in May 2016. She is the Home Care Adviser for the Seacoast and Southern NH regions.
Before joining Home Instead, Trish worked as a Direct Support Professional with The Moore Center, in Manchester NH. In her role as a DSP, she worked with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a community based setting; giving her hands-on experience and a good foundation for client care. In her current role as Home Care Adviser she works with caregivers and clients to create and implement high quality care plans.
Trish received a Bachelor’s in History from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH.
When not working, Trish is spending time with her border collie and family.
Erika joined Home Instead Senior Care in August 2017 as Lead Service Coordinator.
Prior to joining the Home Instead team, Erika worked at Seacoast Mental Health Center as a Case Manager and facilitated diverse groups as an Illness Management & Recovery Specialist. She continues to work with the agency at their group home as a per diem Residential Counselor. Erika also worked as a Direct Care Professional and Family Case Manager with Cross Roads House, the largest emergency and transitional homeless shelter in the state. Erika uses her background in mental health, residential care, and case management to coordinate schedules, ensuring that clients and their families are receiving the best care possible from the most skilled caregivers.
Erika has a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire.
Erika has lived in New Hampshire her entire life and is a part of the Seacoast community. When not working or volunteering, she likes to spend her time outside in nature and enjoys the arts.
Christine joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in September of 2017, and has had a lifelong passion for helping people.
She has personally cared for various family members and friends over the years, and her passion has led her to work in various caregiving settings over the past seventeen years, including her latest work at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. At Frisbie Christine holds a role as Critical Care Tech on an Intensive Care Unit, were she maintains her Licensed Nursing Assistant. With her experience, Christine's role at Home Instead as CAREGiver Training Coordinator allows her to teach and train our current and on-coming caregivers to have the compassion and skills to best assist with our clients’ changing needs.
In her spare time Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
Kim came to Home Instead Senior Care in 2005. She is the Client Care Educator for Seacoast and Southern NH regions.
Kim Maclennan is the agency's most seasoned and experienced staff member having joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2005. Since joining the home care agency, her role has had many transformations. She currently serves as the agency's Client Care Educator, providing hands-on personal care and dementia care training for all CAREGivers. Kim began as a CAREGiver, joining the office staff as Quality Assurance Manager in 2007. It is her longevity within the organization that has allowed her to blend her CAREGiver and CAREGiver management experiences to provide dynamic and interactive training modules. It is her unique and creative approach that elevates the confidence and competence of all CAREGivers.
Kim's caregiving career started at an early age as she has always actively enjoyed and respected seniors. Visiting with the ladies in her grandmother's rest home was the beginning of her desire to become a nurse. Kim graduated from Concord Hospital School of Nursing in 1980 and worked as an RN for 12 years. Changing direction, she home educated her two daughters, at which time her senior father-in-law also came to live with her family. As soon as her children were grown, she found Home Instead Senior Care, where she continues to enjoy a very rewarding career.
Becky is Human Resources Coordinator for Home Instead Senior Care, joining the team in June 2011.
In her current role of Human Resources Coordinator, she works to encourage and inspire others to join in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults. She plays an integral part in the overall development and success of our team of caregivers.
Prior to working for Home Instead Senior Care, Becky worked for 8 years in finance as an Accounts Receivable Representative and Distribution Manager for a funding company specializing in the temporary staffing industry.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Maine, Orono, Maine.
Her hobbies include hiking, traveling and spending time with her Jack Russell Terrier, Harvey.
CJ is the Service Coordinator for Home Instead Senior Care of Seacoast and Southern NH. He joined our team in October 2020.
He grew up in a small town in Maine called Denmark. He started his career as a professional hair stylist. His experience allowed him to identify how important it was to connect with people and to make a difference in their lives. Wanting to contribute to his community in a different way, he ventured in to homecare and found his passion.
CJ enjoys being part of the process to help people. He brings his prior home care experience to Home Instead and has already made a positive difference for our clients and their families.
When he's not at work he enjoys relaxing by listening to music and painting.
