Influenced by her grandparents’ dedication to community service, Melissa spent many summers volunteering at area nursing homes where she learned to listen and understand the specific needs of seniors. Melissa has also gained valuable insight into how growing older could and should look from her Grandma Lovinger who lived to be 100. Melissa applied this experience to Home Instead Senior Care in 2006. Combining her passion for serving the needs of seniors with her business acumen Melissa serves as the Agency Director at Home Instead Senior Care. Melissa was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where she attended John Carroll University and graduated with a degree in Philosophy and Psychology. She has lived on the West Coast since 2003 and is actively involved in the community, volunteering for several area non-profits. Melissa is on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities, where she serves as Vice President.
