Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator Job Description

Objective:

The Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties.  The Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator is expected to answer phones, complete administrative duties and support other staff members with tasks to provide the highest quality service to clients.

 

Primary Responsibilities:                                                                             

  • Reflect the core values of KangaRew, Inc, (dba: Home Instead Senior Care #451, an independently owned and operated franchise)
  • Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner - Determine each visitor’s purpose in a pleasant manner and promptly notify the appropriate staff member of their arrival
  • Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner and distribute incoming calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Process criminal background, Adult Protective Services and Department of Motor Vehicle checks.
  • Make reference calls on prospective CAREGivers in a timely manner
  • Assist with hiring process for new CAREGiversSM, duties may include fielding employment inquiries from prospective CAREGivers and moving applicants through the process.
  • Create and help maintain all employment records including but not limited to I-9 form, W-4 form and all other employment related documents.
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in the Clear Care and hand files.
  • Communicate client and CAREGiver concerns or problems with appropriate Key Player.
  • Ensure Home Instead Senior Care standards are met and upheld.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with owner, colleagues and CAREGivers
  • Manage “high quality” matches for CG’s and Clients.
  • Monitor, mediate, and log CAREGiver activity and follow up on CAREGiver assignments and client service.
  • Ensure hours in ClearCare match CG availability and Client needs and are accurate to services provided.
  • Be proficient and accurate in use of the ClearCare system.
  • Evaluate and update all training materials as needed.
  • Maintain CG supplies such as employee badges, orientation/training binders and new hire packets.
  • Take on-call in rotation with office team
  • Maintain tracking log for CG payroll checks

Secondary Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in quarterly CAREGiver meetings
  • Assist with scheduling and conducting CAREGiver 90-day and annual reviews.  Assist with supervision including regular performance (QA’s) conversations, visits, accountabilities and problem resolution following the corrective action process outlined in the CAREGiver handbook.
  • Conduct Client/CAREGiver introductions.
  • Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner and schedule care consultations
  • Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Assist in the monitoring compliance for local and Federal labor and safety laws including EOE, ADA, FMLA and OSHA
  • Perform any and all other functions deemed necessary

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High school graduation or the equivalent
  • One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
