Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a steady, multi-tasker to join us in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. This role is at the center of the business with the main responsibility of connecting our caregiving workforce with the needs of our senior clients.

The Service Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients. The Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Having a solid understanding of the ClearCare system for the business and maintain CAREGiver and client schedules, reminders and records.
  • Creating and maintaining client and CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches.
  • Ensuring hours in the ClearCare system match CAREGiver availability and client needs while being accurate to services provided.
  • Working with other team members to coordinate various aspects of a client's care.
  • Monitoring, mediating, and logging all client and CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system.
  • Following up with all client and CAREGiver issues to ensure their problems are resolved.
  • Designing, testing and implementing a responsive contingency plan that ensures 100% maintenance of Service Hours.
  • Recognizing and capturing opportunities to increase service hours in scenarios to enhance and/or increase quality care.
  • Being able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, being able to motivate and inspire a team, and effectively responding to the changing needs of the seniors we serve.
Minimum Requirements include:
  • One year of related business experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
  • The ability to organize and prioritize daily, quarterly, monthly and yearly work.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and listen effectively for long periods of time on the telephone.
  • Collaborative approach for working with an interactive and dynamic team.
  • Knowledge of the senior care industry.
