Home Care / Client Care Consultant

Job Details

The Home Care / Client Care Consultant is responsible for ensuring achievement of revenue objectives for the assigned territory. Revenue is to be generated from a variety of Sales and Marketing duties, including researching and pursuing new referral sources and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing referral sources. This position is responsible for reporting results in moving relationships forward to Manager on a weekly basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating documented progress and inquiry production in Sales / Marketing / Networking areas. Responsibilities also include conducting service inquiries and care consultations with potential clients and family members, client/CAREGiver introductions and quality assurance visits with existing clients. They use sales skills to determine each client's initial needs and provide solutions in the form of a tailored service plan. 

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Reflect the core values of KangaRew, Inc. (d.b.a. Home Instead Senior Care #451, an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise).
  • Responsible for researching and developing client relationships and producing referrals; performs all phases of sales process, including preparation and documentation of cold calls, follow-up calls, diagnosis of referral source and client needs, recommendation of appropriate Home Instead services and additional community resources, maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts, including follow-up, as necessary.
  • Achieve inquiry generation objectives for assigned territory with the primary goals of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include, but are not limited to, hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living communities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, etc.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the Home Instead Senior Care brand. Effectively present Home Instead Senior Care marketing materials and services to referral providers, including 1:1 meetings, as well as planning, arranging and conducting formal group presentations to referral providers.
  • Be proficient and accurate in use of the ClearCare system.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities.
Education / Experience Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Related business or sales experience (consultative sales a plus)
  • Must possess a valid Texas driver's license
  • Must be able to work in the field and be insurable.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  •  None
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities include:
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to listen effectively.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information, and meet deadlines.
  • Have knowledge of the Senior Care industry.

Objective:
The Administrative Assistant is expected to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties.  The Administrative Assistant is expected to answer phones, complete administrative duties (which may include assistance with accounts payable and accounts receivable) and support other staff members with tasks in order to provide the highest quality service to clients.
 
Primary Responsibilities:                                                                             
  • Reflect the core values of Home Instead Senior Care #451, an independently owned and operated franchise
  • Handle office responsibilities to allow a consistent full time networking effort, Client Care and CAREGiver work, which is critical in building the business
  • Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner - Determine each visitor’s purpose in a pleasant manner and promptly notify the appropriate staff member of their arrival
  • Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner and distribute incoming calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner and schedule care consultations
  • Assist with hiring process for new CAREGiversSM, duties may include fielding employment inquiries from prospective CAREGivers and moving applicants through the process.
  • Assist with billing processing, including client invoices and CAREGiver payroll including stuffing and mailing client invoices and CAREGiver payroll
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in the operating system
  • Communicate client and CAREGiver concerns or problems with owner or other staff members as appropriate
  • Organize and distribute the daily mail according to prior instructions
  • Ensure Home Instead Senior Care standards are met and upheld
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with owner, colleagues and CAREGivers
     
     
    Secondary Responsibilities: 
  • Assist with making reference calls on prospective CAREGivers in a timely manner
  • Process criminal background, Adult Protective Services and Department of Motor Vehicle checks
  • Participate in quarterly CAREGiver meetings
  • Order and stock office supplies
  • Maintain supplies for postage, fax and copy machine
  • Perform any and all other functions deemed necessary
     
     
    Critical Numbers:
  • 100% of calls answered by 2nd ring
  • Achieve and maintain 50% conversion rate
  • CAREGiver hiring process conducted completely, accurately, and timely, meeting home office, federal and state requirements 100% of the time
     
    Education/Experience Requirements:
  • High school graduation or the equivalent
  • One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
     
    Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Home Instead Senior Care #451, an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Must have knowledge of the senior care industry
  • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills

Provide Companionship & Home Helper services which could include:
o Companionship and conversation
o Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
o Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
