For Dianne and Bob Cunningham, owning Home Instead Senior Care comes from the heart. Prior to buying the business Dianne worked as a CAREGiver, then utlilized her office and managment skills as Director of Public Relations, Development, and Operations. She currently is the President and owner of Home Instead in Erie County, a title she wears proudly and does not take lightly. Her time as a CAREGiver enabled her to form strong connections and long lasting bonds with the clients, their families, and CAREGivers alike. To Dianne, it's personal.

 
“I wanted to buy the business I’ve worked for over the past several years because the clients and their families have become part of my heart,” said Dianne. “I am committed to helping others have peace of mind when it comes to their relative’s welfare - I wake up in the middle of the night, worried about a CAREGiver, worried about the health condition of a client and praying for the outcome. I have realized that Home Instead Senior Care is something I believe in.”

 
Bob is also very passionate about the industry in which he works. He left the auto industry to join his wife after volunteering his time and support to Home Instead Senior Care for two years. He currently holds of the title of owner and CEO, a position as tough and respectable as it sounds. He hopes to "broaden the reach of all our services to all of Erie County, while improving the quality of life for seniors throughout the area". To Bob, it's personal.

 
The Cunninghams and their Home Instead Senior Care team strive to provide services to seniors whereever they call home, whether it be a private home, apartment, assisted-living facility, or care center. Bob realizes this is an important component to senior care as  the majority of seniors, typically 90%, polled in industry surveys conducted by AARP (American Association for Retired Persons) say they want to remain in their homes as they age. 

 
“We love seeing the CAREGivers become part of the family, developing long-term relationships with seniors,” said Bob Cunningham. “Our services are designed for any living arrangement where an older adult simply needs interaction or help with day-to-day activities. Additionally, we enjoy quite a reputation in the community in helping families care for relatives suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Our CAREGivers are trained extensively in this area. "


 The need for in-home senior care services doesn't always arise between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on a weekday. That's why our team stands ready to serve you any day of the week, at any hour of the day or night. Lisa Cunningham LeCorchick - Executive Assistant

Lisa enthusiastically joined the Home Instead team in 2014. Her
responsibilities as Executive Assistant include handling accounts receivable
and payable for the company, payroll, staff benefits and client billing.
Lisa enjoys working with both the clients and their families and the entire
Home Instead Senior Care staff and strives to provide the very best
assistance on a daily basis.

​Amy Jennings joined our staff as Administrative Coordinator in September 2014. She enjoys the challenges that come with this fast-paced high-energy workplace and takes pride in being efficient and keeping the office organized. Misty Peccalaio - Human Resources Manager

​Misty joined the Home Instead Senior Care team as the CAREGiver Experience Coordinator in 2015 and was later promoted to HR Manager in the spring of 2016. Misty completed her degree in Heatlh Care Administration from The University of Pheonix. Having just relocated to Erie, Pennsylvania, she previously worked as a Director of Regional Operations for a senior living facility in Flordia. Misty was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina. She is very excited to be the voice of the CAREGivers and is passionate about providing quality care at home for seniors. As a Staff Coordinator, Maggie is charged with working with both clients and CAREGivers to ensure successful scheduling of shifts.  After more than three years employment with Home Instead, Maggie is very proficient in "matchmaking", always mindful that our seniors and CAREGivers alike are happy with their Home Instead experience.

Prior to coming to Home Instead, Maggie was employed with the Barber National Institute for nine years.  Her last position as a Residential Community Homes Manager.

A graduate of Mercyhurst Prep and Penn State Erie, Maggie has a love of the area and a respect ​for those who choose to stay at home.

"It's my goal to assure shifts are filled properly, with eye on matching skills and personalities for our clients," Maggie says. "Seeing the good our CAREGivers do on a daily basis gives me great satisfaction"
