CAREGiver

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Alzheimer’s Care
*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
  • Reliable vehicle

Client Care Coordinator

Client Care Coordinator 

Home Instead Senior Care in Addison, TX is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Client Care Coordinator. This individual must provide the highest quality service to clients and families with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships. This position requires working independently and as a part of a team to uphold Home Instead's core values.   This part time position (3 days per week) has the potential to become full time as client hours are added.   

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reflect the values of Atkins Elder Care  (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise).
  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system.
  • Follow up with all client and CAREGiver issues to ensure their problems are resolved.
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in the software system.
  • Increase client loyalty to Home Instead Senior Care by utilizing the consultative sales process to better meet our current client needs.
  • Recognize and capture opportunities to increase service hours in scenarios to enhance and/or increase quality care.
  • Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner, enter the information into the software system and work with team to communicate and prepare for the Care Consultation
  • Conduct Service Inquiries following the consultative sales process.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  •  Meet with potential clients and family members to discuss their needs and provide solutions in the form of a service plan.
  • Conduct Care Consultations
  • Maintain ongoing communication and a consistent follow-up schedule with potential clients and families who have yet to commit to service.
  • Work with other team members to coordinate various aspects of a client’s care.
  • Conduct client/CAREGiver introductions with new clients and new CAREGivers.
  • Create and maintain client and responsible party records documenting all quality assurance meetings.
  • Recognize and pursue opportunities to modify service plans to best support the ongoing needs of clients through a quality assurance program.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with clients, family members, the franchise owner, colleagues and CAREGivers, and referral providers/care providers.
  • Work with clients and their families on the various issues that may arise to ensure they are getting resolution to issues as well as receiving the services needed.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities.
Previous home health, hospice or non-medical senior care experience a plus.
