Latest Reviews & Testimonials

Our clients say it best...their words speak volumes about the one-on-one home care that helps them live independently. We pay great attention to the personalities of our CAREGivers and clients so we can make good matches. The matches are all about creating extraordinary relationships between our CAREGivers and clients.

Here is what others are saying about Home Instead Senior Care in Cary and the extraordinary relationships that we have created:

"Home Instead Senior Care helps out with personal care, meals, cleaning, and vacuuming; just general home cleaning for my dad. They're also available to run errands or to take him to doctors' appointments. That's something they can do either with his car or their car. The caregivers have been great. They're always available for him, they're very caring, and they leave good information for me. I write them notes about things that I'm concerned about and they always respond with how it went. I think their company has a policy that they should leave notes anyway. I'm satisfied with this agency. The director, the person who came out and talked to me before we started, he would drop in and supervise occasionally to see how people were doing. When someone was new they would introduce that new caregiver. The administrator would come and help the new caregiver adjust. Emily is one of the case managers I've dealt with the most. When there's a concern, she talks to me and makes some suggestions. For example, sometimes Dad wouldn't take his pills so we talked about what to try and do and how to get him to take them. She's very proactive."

"The office staff is very professional but they show that they care for each for me as an individual and that they care about what needs I have. They realize that I am a human being and I just had a few bumps in the road to put me where I am now. The individual actual caregivers, have overall been very nice but still professional and caring to know that I have certain needs and being in a wheelchair it's different for them to put things away then it is for me. But they do this very wonderfully. It would greatly help if any staff member from caregivers to the office staff that they all remember we used to work we used to be out there doing things and now we can't do things. It is hard for us to ask for things. Please remember this. When you have a client who is permanently in a wheelchair you need to think about what happens when you're not there. Does that client do some things on his/her own? Make sure your client can get to the things wanted without a problem."

"Caregiver was helpful, efficient and very pleasant. She did a great job interacting and tending to our needs.  Thank you so much for accomodating our last minute request."

"The people are friendly the CAREGivers do a nice job with my mother"

"I have worked here for 6 years, and love helping others, fantasic office staff always helpful.  Great job if you need a flexible schedule."

"Tuesday night around 3:30am my husband rolled over and fell out of bed. He was not hurt but was in a tight space.  I just held him close until he woke up and was able to scoot away for the bed.  I would not be able to lift him up, so I said " I need for you to do what Ernie your CAREGiver taught you to do if you fall remember how he had you practice getting up" My Husband even with mild dementia did exactly what Ernie taught him to do and with very little support from me HE GOT UP!!! Ernie several times would have my husband lay on the floor then help him learn how to change his postition so he could get up.  My husband would be exhausted after practice but had Ernie not worked with him I would have had to call someone for help at 3:30 a.m.  My Husband felt proud that he was able to get up with little help for me.  I felt tremendous relief and said a prayer of thanksgiving for Ernie. " Now please lord no more roll overs" "

"My caregiver is kind, thoughtful, patient, resourceful and fun.  She fits right into our extended family of neighbors.  Having Carol on the team will go a long way toward making Mom's last weeks comfortable.  I hope you let her know that she received Mom's highest review"

"My caregiver has to be one of your best staff because she is terrific, always pleasant and ready to do anything.  Genuinely concerned and caring. "

"We hired a caregiver from Home Instead for my brother. The agency was very responsive, helpful, and flexible. I think the only downside is that they didn’t have a lot of CNAs. We preferred that they have more CNAs available. The caregivers were timely and very supportive, though. "

"I had hired Home Instead. The care and services they provided were OK. The doctor and the nurses came. The caregiver came once a month. I used them some 2 years ago. The caregivers were very good. The agency's scheduling and billing processes were very good. "

Thank you for arranging to have Charol be the one to visit my mother-in-law, Catherine, on a regular basis. She is dependable and kind and always willing to be supportive. She has a delightful disposition. Thank you for the matching of these two.

Please extend our appreciation for all the caregivers who attended Harriet. Sherri and the substitute staff are very caring, comforting and professional. Your agency is a God-send for the elderly and infirmed still living at home. Harriet enjoyed having Sherri and the other team members visit every Thursday. It was comforting for the family knowing she was well taken care of while we were away.

Many thanks for your thoughtful and most prompt card of condolences. Mom was very pleased to be part of the Home Instead family. She thought of you as her friends. How wonderful!

There are no words to express the thoughts and feelings we have for the Home Instead staff at the McHenry Villa.
It was Carol's "plan of care" and the dedicated Home Instead staff that allowed us to keep Peter at home until the end. We can't praise them enough nor thank them enough for all they did. And they did more than we ever imagined would be needed.  We don't know what we would have done without the Home Instead staff.
Their skills are equal to their compassion. They didn't just take care of our dad, they cared for him. His wish was to spend his last days at home, and Home Instead granted him that wish.
And for that, we thank you.

Please know your employee, Mary, who takes care of Edna is WONDERFUL! We couldn't ask for a more caring, thoughtful and responsible individual to help with Edna's well-being.
The family thanks you for employing GOOD PEOPLE!
