Donna and her husband, Steve, opened the Berkshire County Home Instead Senior Care office in 2001. She is passionate about enhancing the lives of aging adults, through our home care services, support and education of family caregivers and Alzheimer's awareness. She loves to see people grow and develop both personally and professionally and is proud of the Home Instead CAREGivers and staff. Donna loves her three kids, Isabelle, Oliver and Alex. When she has time, she enjoys gardening, cooking and reading.
Steve opened the Berkshire County Home Instead office in 2001 after experiencing a need for help with his own mom. Having grown up in North Adams, he is grateful to be serving seniors in his home community of the Berkshires. When he has time, Steve loves fishing for trout in our beautiful rivers and lakes.
Alissa's passion for helping seniors brought her to Home Instead Senior Care in 2011. She gets a lot of satisfaction from assessing our clients' needs and then arranging a personalized plan of care. Personally, she has faced some of the many issues family caregivers deal with every day allowing her to understand the caregiving journey. Alissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially cooking and sharing dishes with them.
Heather comes to Home Instead with many years experience caring for seniors, particularly those with dementia, including her own mother. She loves being able to support our CAREGivers and our clients' families. Her mother instilled in her a strong work ethic and great compassion for others and Heather demonstrates this every day as she makes a difference in her interactions with families. She is blessed with a beautiful family and enjoys going out to dinner and going on cruises with her husband of 41 years, Mike!
Gail has a special insight into the needs of our clients after starting as a CAREGiver in 2010. She enjoys getting to know our clients and learning about their interesting histories. Gail likes to spend time with her family, friends and her kitty. She also likes reading, watching movies, gardening and cooking.
Mary Ellen loves enriching the lives of all our clients, and especially those with Alzheimer's disease. She gets so much out of her relationships, feeling so rewarded by making a positive difference. Mary Ellen enjoys spending time with her family at dinners or the beach. Her new grandson, Benjamin is the joy of her life.
Gina has been the face of Home Instead in our community since 2007, educating people about how Home Instead can keep you in your home where you are happiest and healthiest. Before joining Home Instead, Gina was a home care nurse for 15 years. That experience has taught her a lot about solving problems for both families and our community partners. Gina enjoys cooking and visiting Cape Cod with her husband and two children.
Bobbie's passion for improving the quality of life for seniors makes her a great fit for her work at Home Instead. She has a passion for developing dementia programs for people living with the disease and the family caring for them. We are proud that Bobbie was instrumental in kicking off the Age Friendly Berkshires initiative. She enjoys working with other senior care leaders in our community. You can find Bobbie working in her beautiful garden when she has free time.
Bonnie's varied career in scheduling, customer service and sales has been a plus in her work at Home Instead. She is passionate about getting our clients the care they need as quickly as possible with a compatible CAREGiver, giving family members some peace of mind. In her free time, Bonnie enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and dogs. She cherishes every moment she gets to spend with her son and her two grandchildren.
Dorsey plays a key role in finding the perfect CAREGiver for our Clients and their families. If you need to make a change in your schedule, Dorsey is the one to call. Dorsey was blessed to be able to help both her mother and father remain in their home as they aged. Family is very important to Dorsey and she loves big family gatherings or heading outdoors with her husband.
Sylvia has been a team member since 2007. Having been a family caregiver, she understands the struggles that our clients' families go through and is rewarded when she is able to ease that burden. Sylvia loves the great team she works with at Home Instead. Sylvia has a grown daughter of whom she is very proud. She enjoys taking day trips with her husband, especially if it involves wine tasting. She is a diehard Patriots fan!
Brian enjoys meeting new people in his search for CAREGivers who will contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults in Berkshire County. His mom needed care in her final years givng Brian a unique understanding of how important the right CAREGiver match is. Brian is very devoted to his family and church and loves exploring the outdoors with his wife of over 30 years.
Beginning her Home Instead career in 2007 as a CAREGiver has given Debbie a soft spot in her heart for our clients and CAREGivers. It is Debbie's cheery voice which will greet you when you call our office. When she's not playing her African drum, Debbie enjoys taking long walks with her husband and dogs.
Lynne joined the Home Instead team in 2012 bringing with her years of experience in keeping the books for a number of organizations. She is lending her great organizational skills not only to our accounts but all around the office. Lynne loves finding fun activities to do with her two daughters. She is enjoying working in the friendly environment we've created at Home Instead Senior Care.
