We are the owners of Home Instead Senior Care located in Portland, Oregon. For many years my wife and I both felt a very strong desire to not only one day own our own company, but to also find a path that would lead us to helping other people, guiding a team and most importantly, better our community. I had the wonderful opportunity to care for my grandfather for a little over 2 years while in college. That experience forever changed my life, an experience that ultimately led me to owning this rewarding business. During our amazing path and discovery of the Home Instead Senior Care business, Aimee and I have been reminded, almost daily, that this is our fate. Aimee has even coined our extraordinary journey and experience as our "Our God Moment". We feel we've found the perfect ingredients to our dream in this amazing opportunity with Home Instead Senior Care. Furthermore, we full heartedly believe in Home Instead Senior Care and the Core Values established by the founders Paul and Lori Hogan.

Jennifer is our Business Development & Community Manager, and has worked for Home Instead Senior Care since 2008. She is responsible for educating our community on Aging related topics and ensuring others in the Health Care Community know of the resource that Home Instead Senior Care is.
working with seniors right out of college. First, with a home care agency, and then
with hospice. My passion for seniors stems into my personal life, as I would
visit my own grandmother weekly; a routine we kept until her passing in 2015.
My son Bishop is now her namesake. While obtaining my degree in Social &
Human Services I spent a lot of time with the homeless population, transitional
housing, and troubled youth. I have a general love for people of any age and
When I am
not working I love hanging out with my family, which includes our doggle
(Beagle/Doberman mix) Samson! I enjoy camping, shopping, dancing, ANY arts
& crafts and repurposing old stuff.
Carie is our Client Care Manager, she has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2017. Carie brings over 20 years of experience in the Senior Care Industry and an unwavering passion to provide quality care to all she serves.
Brittany is our Director of Human Resources. She has been with Home Instead since 2013. She is responsible for calling CAREGiver inquiries, scheduling interviews, interviewing and training of our CAREGivers.
Autumn is our Scheduling Manager and joined the Home Instead Senior Care Family in 2018. She oversees the staffing team to ensure that the relationships between clients and CAREGivers are successful.
Allen joined the Home Instead Family in 2019 and is our Lead Scheduling Coordinator. He works closely with our CAREGivers making successful matches with clients and helping them provide the best quality care they can. Allen has almost 20 years of experience in Scheduling in the Senior Care setting.
Jacqueline has been with Home Instead Senior Care 2017. She is our Client Inquiry Specialist & Office Coordinator, and provides both in-office support as well as assisting with our evening on-call duties to ensure our clients, families and caregivers always have a live person to speak with.
Charelle is our Scheduling Coordinator, and came to Home Instead Senior Care in 2018. She is responsible for making the extraordinary matches between our Clients and CAREGivers.
Kim has been with Home Instead Senior Care 2012. She started as a CAREGiver and we soon discovered what a great asset she would be in the office. She now assists with our evening on-call duties to ensure our clients, families and caregivers always have a live person to speak with.
Carey is our Training & Engagement Coordinator and started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2017. She is responsible for finding wonderful people to work with our seniors and developing ways to ensure our caregivers are well cared for and appreciated! She keeps our family happy!
Laurie is our CAREGiver Experience Coordinator. She has been with Home Instead since 2016 and started off as a CAREGiver here at Home Instead. She is responsible for taking CAREGiver inquiries, setting up interviews with potential CAREGivers, conducting the intial interviews and assisting the Recruitment and Retention Team.
Karen is one of our Client Care Coordinators, and has worked with Home Instead Senior Care since 2007. She is responsible for Quality Assurance Visits, Client
and CAREGiver introductions and meeting with clients and family members
to introduce them to our services. Her goal is to create the perfect
care plan for you or your loved one to ensure your independence in the
place you call home.
Martina is one of our Client Care Coordinators and joined the Home Instead Senior Care Family in 2017. She is responsible for Quality Assurance Visits, Client and CAREGiver introductions and meeting with clients and family members to introduce them to our services. Her goal is to create the perfect care plan for you or your loved one to ensure your independence in the place you call home.
Growing up in Germany she remembers spending a lot of time at an Assisted Living that her family friends ran. She loved spending time with the residents and during that time she gained a deep respect for the generations that came before her. Right out of college, Martina took a detour from Eldercare and travelled the world as a Flight Attendant with Delta Airlines. However, her passion of empowering elders to age with grace and dignity could not be ignored. Martina returned to school to study Gerontology and Guardianship with the University of Washington.
With 2 children off to college, her husband, who is an Army Veteran, and herself decided to fill their empty nest with two very large dogs. Martina loves spending time with Athena who is a St. Bernard/Mastiff mix and Ruger who is a Great Dane/Cane Corso mix. They also love spending as much time outdoors as they can, either hiking or in their garden.
Sara is one of our Client Care Coordinators, and joined the Home Instead Senior Care Family in 2019. She is responsible for Quality Assurance Visits, Client and CAREGiver introductions and meeting with clients and family members to introduce them to our services.
Sara Hoffman graduated with her master's in social work from Southern Illinois University in 2011. After taking a 9-year hiatus from her major while she worked as a veterinary technician, she found her passion for seniors. She wants to dedicate her time and energy helping the senior community in her neighborhood as a way to give back to her grandma Teddy who was such a strong, caring & independent woman living just two months shy of her 100th birthday.
Sara grew up in the west suburbs of Chicago and moved to the Portland area in 2015 with her Husband Matt, they have two dogs Bilbo & Gimli and a cat Ella. When she's not working you can find her somewhere in the mountains hiking, snowshoeing or camping.
