Sharon joins Home Instead Senior Care with more than 30 years’ experience of working with the senior adults in our local community. She has vast and varied experiences, primarily in non-profit, working with senior adults and adults with special needs, in both community and residential settings. Margarita is a Registered Nurse, Board Certified Case Manager, and Certified Aging Life Care Manager with over 18 years of expertise in the field of aging. Her experience is in the community of home care agencies servicing clients in the tristate area. In addition to HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE, she runs a geriatric care management company providing advocacy for the aging population, and helping families navigate the maze of long term care. Charlene has been an office administrator for over 30 years. In addition to her 20 years of experience working in a law firm, Charlene has also managed to fit 10 years of CAREGiving into her schedule, as she is very passionate when it comes to helping others. Her responsibilities include onboarding new CAREGivers and ongoing supervision for all our CAREGivers. Nancy, a retired guidance counselor from Columbia High School in Maplewood, is trained as both a teacher and a guidance counselor. She received her Master of Education from John Hopkins University and her Bachelor of Science from Slippery Rock University. Nancy teaches our new CAREGiver orientation and trains our CAREGivers in Alzheimer and Other Dementias. Presently, in addition to working at HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE, she is a supervisor at Drew University for student teachers.Nancy lives in Springfield with her husband Joe.
