In June of 2019, the Birmingham franchise achieved a new revenue watermark that is recognized by the Home Instead Senior Care Corporate office as being a major milestone. The office will be awarded with the Founders I award at the annual International Convention in 2020. The award for this achievement is $30,000 in monetary gifts to be awarded to local non-profits that serve seniors and the advancement of their care in the local community.
Our owners, Bert and Stephanie Copple, want to recognize our CAREGivers for their hard work by allowing them to nominate their favorite non-profit that serves and cares for seniors in our community for an opportunity to win this award. CAREGivers who work for the Home Instead franchise in Birmingham may nominate any non-profit organization that operates within Southeast Oakland County (our franchise footprint) with an explanation as to why they think the nominated charity deserves the award. Nominations are due by the end of August, 2019. Once the finalists have been determined, CAREGivers will then get to vote for their top three choices to receive and share the $30,000.
