Weekend On-Call Caregiver

Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Weekend On-Call CAREGiver! You will be responsible for responding to any unscheduled or last minute assignments that come in during the weekend or specified period. This position will provide temporary coverage for any open shifts. The Weekend On-Call Caregiver is placed on standby beginning from Fridays at 5pm and ends at 8am on Mondays. You must be available to work any shift during that period of time. On-call pay will be provided in addition to pay for any shifts worked.

Qualifications:

  • Have at least one year of experience working as a caregiver. CNA preferred.
  • Must be able to work competently and independently in order to serve the needs of our seniors in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to provide services to clients with varying care needs including, but not limited to, assistance with ADL's, dementia and hospice care.
  • Must be able to respond to the Weekend/After-Hours Supervisor within 15 minutes. Car preferred but not required. Have open availability during the specified weekend period - Friday at 5pm to Monday at 8am.
  • Must be able to pass LiveScan fingerprint and drug screen

We have an immediate opening for a Weekday Evening On-Call Caregiver.  The Weekday On-Call Caregiver must be available to work any available shift Monday - Friday between the hours of 3pm - 11pm.  This caregiver will be eligible for on-call pay PLUS hourly pay for any shifts worked.

Part-time Weekend Supervisor

Home Instead Senior Care, is the world's trusted source of non-medical care for seniors in their homes to meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. We are a part of a network of more than 1,000 offices across 18 different countries. Our San Francisco, CA. office, is currently recruiting for a Weekend Staffing Supervisor.  This position requires the supervisor be available to answer the phone, assist with scheduling and complete in-person introductions/care consultations as needed.  Work remotely and have option to work at HQ.  However, in-person introductions may need to be completed during the weekend.   Prior staffing/scheduling experience in home care, health care or senior-related industry preferred.  Compensation is $500 for the weekend - Friday after 5:00pm thru Monday at 8:00am.

Staffing Supervisor; is expected to perform a variety of duties that relate to Staffing of CAREGivers. The candidate will continuously evaluate the plan of care through a series of ongoing communications and visits to ensure high quality of clients and supervise weekend scheduling of CAREGivers.

  • Answer calls from caregivers, clients and prospects
  • Communicate shift summary on daily basis to Supervisor and Team
  • Determine ideal staffing match, manage clients and caregivers schedules and ensure compliance with time reporting system
  • Primary point of contact to reschedule shift vacancies
  • Maintain accurate and ongoing documentation of caregivers and client activities
  • Conduct new client inquires in a knowledgeable manner and maintain calendar for consistent follow-up with potential clients and families
  • Must be available after business hours for clients and caregivers scheduling adjustments
  • Mileage reimbursement for field work
  • Support from Home Instead San Francisco Office Team
Must live in close proximity to San Francisco, Must have access to a vehicle (driving record will be run)

Temporary Administrative Assistant

Job Details

Home Instead of San Francisco is currently hiring an Office Manager!  This individual is expected to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties that support the office. The Office Manager is expected to answer phones, greet visitors and assist with HR, clerical duties and administrative duties. 

This position would require being on-site Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm.  Compensation is 45K. 

  • Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner
  • Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner and distribute incoming calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Ensure CAREGiver credentials are current with State Licensure requirements
  • Provides administrative support for all departments
  • Assist with stuffing and mailing client invoices and payroll stubs
  • Order and stock office supplies
  • Maintain and service for postage and copy machine
Education/Experience
  • One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work
  • Must be able to establish good working relationships with management, colleagues, franchise owners and their staff
  • Must have the ability to sit at a desk and listen effectively for long periods of time on the telephone
Requirements
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be able to operate office equipment
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel

Receptionist - Temp Position

Home Instead Senior Care - San Francisco office, is looking for an experienced, organized Receptionist/Admin . We are looking for someone who has excellent telephone and administrative skills. Must have a high level of integrity, strives for excellence, possess good judgment and decision making skills.  This is a temporary position, from mid-August through September 2018.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to;

  • Answer & route each call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner
  • Field new client inquires over the phone in a knowledgeable manner; enter information into database
  • Distribute incoming mail to appropriate staff member
  • Create and maintain supply of care consultation and orientation packets weekly
  • Assist with payroll mailing
  • Assist Operations, Staffing Coordinators and Client Care Staff with duties as needed
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with franchise owner and colleagues
  • Any additional adhoc projects
     
This is a non-exempt, temporary position.
