Susan has been active in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, working closely with physicians, case managers, social workers, fiduciaries, and other healthcare professionals ensuring excellent communication and coordination of client needs. She served on the Membership Committee of CMSA San Francisco/East Bay Chapter for two years.
Gloria Vo is the Director of Client Experience at Home Instead Senior Care in San Francisco, a non-medical care agency providing professional and compassionate care to seniors and people living with disabilities in their own homes, in facilities and in hospitals. She began her career at Home Instead San Francisco as a Staffing Coordinator and Care Manager before transitioning into her current role as Director of Client Experience.Her healthcare experience began two decades ago in the dental industry. She collaborated with dental schools and dentists to prepare fourth year dental students for private practice. In addition to her dental consulting job, she managed a boutique dental practice in downtown San Francisco for 15 years. After retiring from dentistry, she pursued her passion in Geriatric Care at Home Instead San Francisco. She performs bedside assessments and works closely with social workers and case managers to develop an appropriate Plan of Care for clients before they are discharged. Her clinical and administrative experience allows her to be an instrumental resource for her clients and their families.
Bethany McGuire is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio. She has over 15 years experience working with older adults in various settings including hospice, senior living and home care. Her focus is recruiting and training quality CAREGivers to serve our clients. She works closely with our Care Managers and Schedulers to foster a positive relationship between the clients and CAREGivers.
Alessandra brings her years of account executive experience launching creative campaigns for consumer, medical device and diagnostic companies to her role at Home Instead. Previously, Alessandra worked as an educator of young children and brings her compassion and empathic nature to her work with seniors. She graduated with her Masters in Education from San Francisco State University.
Ryan is our Senior Staffing Manager who brings a lot of personal and professional experience including office and operations management as well technical support analysis – in addition to his warm and friendly demeanor, he is responsible for identifying CAREGivers and matching them with our Clients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, being a “foodie”, ballroom and Philippine Folk dancing, watching Thai drama shows “Lakorns”, traveling around the world and eating life.
Maria is our Administrative Assistant who brings an excellent administrative skill set to us, you could say she is the jack of all traits. When you call our office most likely you will be greeted by Maria. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, drawing and listening to music.
