Jill discovered her passion for home care while attending San Francisco State University in 2007, she was offered the opportunity to work as a one-on-one live-in caregiver, for her elderly close family friend. She provided in-home care and support to her client, while simultaneously earning a Bachelor’s of Art Degree with an emphasis in Art History. She has also spent time working as a caregiver in a residential care facility providing personal care and companionship for six residents. Jill joined the administrative side of a home care organization in 2013 and quickly displayed great leadership potential, becoming an essential part of management and earned a promotion as Operations Manager in 2015. Jill joined Home Instead January of 2018 .Jill understands the home care industry and supports her team in all facets. Jill has great interpersonal skills, a “can-do” attitude, and an innate desire to help people. She currently resides in San Francisco and enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her dog.
Susan has been active in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, working closely with physicians, case managers, social workers, fiduciaries, and other healthcare professionals ensuring excellent communication and coordination of client needs. She served on the Membership Committee of CMSA San Francisco/East Bay Chapter for two years.
Victoria Black, Gerontologist, received her Masters of Art in Gerontology at San Francisco State University and has actively been working with the elderly in San Francisco since, just under 10 years. Her Master's thesis emphasized the idea of creating and maintaining a Quality of Life at the End of Life and it has truly been her passion to ensure that older adults have the highest level of care while maintaining their dignity and independence. Victoria is excited to bring her experience and knowledge to the Home Instead team and is ready to collaborate and continue to grow with the Home Instead team.
Ryan is our Director of Staffing, he has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2000. He brings a lot of personal and professional experience including office and operations management as well technical support analysis – in addition to his warm and friendly demeanor, he is responsible for identifying CAREGivers and matching them with our Clients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, being a “foodie”, ballroom and Philippine Folk dancing, watching Thai drama shows “Lakorns”, traveling around the world and eating life.
Kevin is our Recruitment Coordinator. He brings a lot of personal and professional experience including office and operations management – in addition to his warm and friendly demeanor, he is responsible for identifying CAREGivers and making sure they maintain compliance with our standards. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports.
Frankie enjoys his work as Office Coordinator and the interaction with Clients, CAREGivers and Staff. He has worked at nonprofits, both in human services and in environmental preservation, for over 15 years. After 12 years in the Information Technology field, he has returned to office management and uses his talent in both fields to hep with efficiency and logistics.
George has been with Home Instead since 2014. George formerly taught at the community college level and holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Education. After his teaching career he served as a member of the international gymnastics federation for USA gymnastics. Since moving to San Francisco twelve years ago he began a career in Executive and career coaching. George enjoys working with the staff at Home Instead and assisting his team with client care management. George is motivated to help clients have a positive experience and support with Home Instead senior care.
Courtney has over 20 years of both clinical and administrative healthcare experience. She has worked in the home care industry since 2014 providing support to both clients and CAREGivers. Courtney's passions include family, travel and healthcare. She has worked in healthcare on both sides of the country and even did some volunteer medical aid work in Kaoleni, Kenya. In Courtney's free time she enjoys traveling the globe with her husband and 3 kids.
Karen - With 17 years in the home care industry, Karen has overseen departments in Staffing, Care Management, and Human Resources. She also has earned a certificate as a Home Health Aide. She has an immense passion for geriatric health care and is an advocate for CAREGivers.
Keasha was first introduced to home health while in graduate school in 2016. She joined the Home Instead San Francisco team in 2019, where she provides after hours and weekend support and staffing. She has a Master's Degree in Social Work and has experience providing geriatric mental health services and coordination of care. Keasha enjoys fusing her passion of traveling and mental health and has volunteered and provided consultation in Ghana, United Arab Emirates, and Mexico.
