Patty – President and Owner

Patty – President and Owner

An entrepreneur who wants to make a difference, Patty started Home Instead Senior Care in 1998. She has always been inspired by her parents, who led by their example: treating people respectfully, working hard, and being honest. Patty is personally committed to and focused on providing a high-quality service that makes life easier and more enjoyable for Home Instead seniors and their families. She enjoys reading, movies, traveling, and being with family and friends.

Diana – Client Services Manager

Diana – Client Services Manager

Diana has been with Home Instead Senior Care for more than 10 years. Diana’s primary job is to ensure Home Instead is providing quality care to all our clients. She routinely communicates with clients, their families, and our CAREGivers. Diana is originally from Washington, DC and spent her childhood in upstate New York and Columbia, Maryland. Diana enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, traveling (especially to Aruba), and sports.

Mary Anne – Client Care Specialist

Mary Anne – Client Care Specialist

Mary Anne conducts initial consultations with families interested in Home Instead’s services, as well as on-going quality assurance visits to clients. She has a background in social work and worked as a special education teacher in the area for many years. Mary Anne grew up in Silver Spring, where she still lives with her husband, two teenaged children, and one very spoiled shih tzu. She is a big fan of Gothic novels, Belgian chocolates, and the Nationals baseball team.

Karen – Registered Nurse

Karen – Registered Nurse

Karen has a diverse clinical background and a special interest in geriatric nursing. Her focus is on building strong, supportive relationships with our clients and their families. Originally from Boston, Mass., Karen currently resides in Brookeville. In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with her four children and six grandchildren. She is an avid sports fan and loves to watch her favorite teams, the Baltimore Ravens and the Chicago Bulls.

Paula – Registered Nurse

Paula – Registered Nurse

Paula brings with her many years of clinical experience. She has a background in Public Health as well as Hospice nursing. Paula conducts initial and ongoing client assessments and develops individualized plans of care. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Margaret – Director of Human Resources

Margaret – Director of Human Resources

​As the Director of Human Resources, Margaret helps to ensure that Home Instead hires qualified and compassionate CAREGivers to assist our clients with their daily needs. Margaret grew up and raised her family in Montgomery County. In her spare time, she loves reading, crafts, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.


Mary Beth – Director of Business Development

Mary Beth – Director of Business Development

Mary Beth develops and strengthens our professional relationships in the community. She supported her beloved grandmother through her transitions in senior living. She loves spending time with her husband and three daughters, although two are away in college most of the year. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading, gardening, watching movies, and playing with her dog, Sammi.

Tabytha – Office Administrator

Tabytha – Office Administrator

​Tabytha wears many hats around the office--she processes billing and payroll, provides office tech support, and ensures that all aspects of Home Instead are always in compliance. Tabytha started with Home Instead as a CAREgiver in 2014; her hard work, intelligence, and can-do attitude led to well-deserved promotions, and she is now an invaluable part of the administrative team. She is mom to 3 kids (and one fur baby!) and loves to read, write, and paint watercolors.


Debbie – Scheduling Coordinator

Debbie – Scheduling Coordinator

​Debbie is responsible for selecting and making a great and appropriate match when scheduling CAREGivers with new or existing clients. Debbie has been with HISC since 2017. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and enjoys spending time with her family and her church community family. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, baking, and traveling.
